I am having a lot of fun learning and playing at the Bovine! Taking improv classes is a highlight of my week. I enjoy stretching into the creativity and greater self-expression with a group of very fun people. I look forward to integrating my learning into my work as a trainer in Compassionate Communication to add to the fun learning that I offer others. Improv is such a great metaphor for life, looking for new perspectives, creating what we want, saying "yes" to life! The Bovine does a wonderful job of teaching in a supportive and encouraging way. And I love the way a sense of community is created. Being able to attend the very entertaining shows for free as a student is a great bonus too! If you want to have fun, grow, meet people, see some great theater, and expand your life experience, the Bovine is a great place to go for it!

I finally decided to take an improv class at the Bovine several months ago. It was something I had always wanted to do. Though I knew I would learn a lot and have some fun, I had no idea how life changing this could be. The training has been the best thing I have done for my communication business as well as my personal life. There are few classes that weave so well into your life to make you a better communicator, build your confidence and add the extra fun "spice" youre looking for. As a bonus, the instructors and other performers and staff are a blast to be around. The shows are always fun and different. This has been one of the most welcoming environments I have ever been lucky enough to be a part of. Wouldnt trade a single moment of the time Ive spent at the Bovine for anything.

Cheaper than a movie, much funnier than just wandering around the 16th street mall. The shows are always high energy and unpredictable. If you are looking for a laugh and maybe that special something else that only improv can deliver, hoist yourself up the Bovines stairs to comedy paradise! I also highly recommend taking classes to everybody regardless of their career. All occupations benefit from improv training; Doctors will improve their bedside manner, waiters will see their tips increase, and software engineers will learn to divert attention from coding errors; everybody wins with a little improv in their skillset. It should be required in the public school curriculum. Did I mention that its also fun?

Great place for both improv and sketch comedy. In addition to being a big fan of their shows, I have graduated from their improv school (in fact, I enjoyed it so much, I am a double graduate). It would not be an over-statement to say that taking these classes was life changing for me. Although I dont perform now, use of improv skills is something that I use at work, with my son, and more generally in life. I highly recommend the improv classes here. They are the best, most detailed classes one can take in the Denver area (and, yes, I have taken some of the competitors classes to say this).

im a recent re-regular at the bovine - it had been a few years since id been to a show here and my love for the art has been renewed! ive attended both improv & sketch performances (the current holiday show red is the new green is hilarious!) and have LOLd and snorted (perhaps to the chagrin of those sitting near me) - a belly laugh is good for the soul! i hear theres a new HVAC system being installed - it has gotten pretty warm, especially in the summer or if you are on the back row near the booth with all the equipment. MOO!

An amazing opportunity to watch others grow in the "art" of Improv. The classes teach and inspire the uninhibited you to blossom. The stage provides an opportunity to have fun while you grow in the art of listening and responding. Any night in the audience is entertaining and inspiring. Denvers Next Improv Star will have you holding your breath come elimination time, Heirs of Hogwarts will hurtle you to the "ever after" beyond the 7th book, On the Spot will have you laughing hysterically. The staff is always upbeat and helpful.

Ive watched Whose Line... before, but we were new to the improv scene. We watched Red is the New Green. It was funny. We stayed for On the Spot. I laughed so hard my mouth was hurting by the end of the show. We brought our 12 y.o. and 15 y.o. kids. The material was clean. I found out I could have parked in a nearby garage and got validated parking, but still got more than our $50s worth (admission for 4 and parking) of entertainment. I will definitely be going back and bringing more friends and family.

Living an hour from Denver, Im pretty selective with what I decide to do there. It has to be great. Decided to take a chance with this little improv theater, and was I impressed! I will definitely be back. I appreciate the family friendly aspect of it. This forces the actors to think of creative ways to make people laugh instead of just making sex jokes or using potty humor (so lazy!). I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. Also, its super affordable! Be sure to visit. You wont regret it.

The Bovine lead Eric Farone is a direct descendant of Del Close and many other greats of Improvisation in Chicago. Erics own passion for Improv is second to none and his brilliance is a beautiful thing to watch on stage. Denise, also a wonderful Improviser makes you feel at home as soon as you come in! Ive graduated twice, hey, Im a little slow... PLAYER that is... and taken the Harold class. All is top notch training here in Denver that will definitely IMPROV your life! All the best!

I went to see the Heirs of Hogwarts improv show, and it exceeded expectations! I loved that the team was able to keep up a thread of narrative through the entire show, while maintaining the momentum and humor. I felt the ticket cost was a bit high, but it was worth it, and its probably extra worth it if you stick around for the late show (which the ticket includes), which unfortunately I couldnt do last time. I will be back!

I have gone to many comedy clubs just this past year, and out of all the glitz and glam, Bovine was my all time favorite. You get an experience that no one else could come close to offering. Laughs all night. Close to food. Not too pricey. And hey they even offer classes from getting your feet wet in some improv to taking a huge dive into something greater. Bovine is and always will be a 5 star quality club.

Sorry to say that after high hopes from Google Reviews 4.8 rating, I cant recommend "Denvers Best Improv Star" - maybe it was an off night, but the performances were painfully unfunny and drawn out. The judges recaps were repetitive and long-winded: OK for a class, not a performance. On the plus side, a couple of the eight performers will definitely go on to better things and I wish them luck.

I have loved every interaction I have had with Bovine and its representatives. They are a classy, kind, generous operation. The improv training is exceptional, and they are community-minded. I have very much enjoyed our experience with Bovine over the years, and our students educational experiences have been greatly enriched as a result. Thank you Bovine Metropolis, and keep up the great work!
