The bug is a very cool theatre. We were here for Ten Buddhist Tales, which in itself was what I will call interesting, funny, but interesting. Im still trying to figure a lot of it out, but then again Ive never been very good at interpreting artistic inspiration. I will say I was entertained and in the end I couldnt have asked for more than that. As for the venue itself it is very cozy. Im not sure how many it seats, but it is intimate to the point you feel you are part of the show, not just watching it. Upon further research, they have all types of shows so Ill have to keep checking back to see if anything piques my curiousity.

I just went to The Bug Theatre for the first time on Monday night for their Text-O-Saurus which was excellent! Each comedian performed a standup routine while the crowd sent in topics for them to discuss during the second half of the show. The theatre is a very small venue which serves snacks (candy bars and such), wine, and beer. The bar is cash only. Everyone was extremely friendly and I am happy that I found this place and cannot wait to return for another show.

We went to see 2012 Merry F**ing Christmas. We were really excited to attend a show at the Bug Theater, Cool place. We were looking forward to a night of laughs and we REALLY wanted to love the show. You know how comedy can be "good bad" and thoroughly enjoyable? This was just plain bad. No one was laughing. It was unbearably bad. No redeeming comedic moments. Not sure how it made it to the stage. Total waste of time and $$.

Just watched Tuna and the Rock Cats. A purple tour bus was parked in front with over a dozen cats in costume. There was a band. A drummer, guitarist, someone playing the tamborine, and one on cow bell. Musicians were all played by cats. It was all one could ask for in a cat band. Venue was dark and appropriate for this style of entertainment.

Nice little neighborhood venue, built in the early 1900s. About 18 rows, each with about 11 seats. Its a bit shabby (because its old), but immaculately clean. Everything, including the bathrooms, was clean. The refreshment stand was decently stocked, and reasonably priced. Well look forward to coming here for other shows.

Rocky Horror the musical stage show running until early July 2017! Fantastic cast and phenomenal performances from some of Denvers best local actors. Highly recommend seeing this show. Wonderful cozy theatre! Recommend seeing shows at this theatre anytime they have them. Love The Bug!

Theres always something interesting going on at the Bug. The area around the theater is getting better and better, and theres plenty of pre-show dinner and drinks available within walking distance. Needs some serious climate control though...it gets HOT in there during performances.

I go to a lot of theatre, and this the best small playhouse that I have ever been to. There are so many talented actors/singers and the plays that they put on are so much fun! My favorites are night of the living dead; the musical, Carrie; the musical and evil dead; the musical.

This was my first time at the Bug Theater . Theres wine, snacks, and alcohol for purchase. But who needs that when the performance was incredible. I had a great time and cant wait for the next performance.

Freak Train is always a fun time. Last Monday of the Month and only $5 to get in. You never know what you will see but it will always be something that you wouldnt see in your everyday life.

I saw a cat circus here. It was great and the theater was nice and small but my only complaint was how hot it was inside. It was hard to fully enjoy the cats with the heat.

They are nice and work with you to get your production shown. An additional bonus is its close proximity to places to eat.
