Ive gone to this theatre a few times, mostly due to the convince of the location. Each time I was there, the lines to buy tickets and food seem to be backed up. Doesnt make much sense seeing as there are ticket counters at the front of the building, but arent being used. The staff is very friendly, so no complaints there, but I wish it was more clear of which theater you were supposed to go to, as the labeling of the rooms is pretty non existent. The movie experience itself could be better during to what seems to be an always dimmed screen. The picture always seems dark making things hard to see, and the sound. This is my biggest complaint. The sound in the theater is so incredibly loud that it actually hurts my ears. I have some hearing loss I received in the army, and when we went to see star trek beyond, the explosions were so loud that my ears began to ring all over again, causing pain and me wincing through it. Drop the volume just a few notches please.

I went to this location to see Beauty and the Beast last night at the 7:45 pm showing. Since the movie has been out for a while, I expected to have a choice of seats. That I did: I was the only one in the theater, only to be joined by a small family right before start time. Start time came and went. By 8 pm, I asked the family if it was normal for lateness. They stated they were having difficulties with some of the movies. It came on within 5 minutes. I stayed for some of the credits and left before it was totally finished. I walked out to go to the bathroom and noticed it was a bit dark. As I came out, there was NO ONE in the theater. The employees had left. My car was the only one in the parking lot with the exception of a Jeep. Possibly last employee?? A bit unnerving. Over all, the theater was clean, just old and worn out. The cashier was friendly. Would I go back? Maybe. Only during the day.

This used to be owned by Carmike, and the prices and specials were wonderful. This made up for the small size, sub-par seats and ridiculous ticketing situation. Now that its been purchased by AMC Classic, the only thing that has changed is the cost. Tickets have gone up, but quality has stayed sub-standard. When I mentioned this to one of the employees at the counter, her attitude couldnt have been less uncaring. NOT enticing, AMC. I do not recommend this theater anymore. Price increase and loss of great specials/discounts should have been accompanied by upgrades. At the very least, they could have reopened the ticketing counters, rather than having everyone stand in line at the refreshment counter to purchase movie tickets, whether you want to buy food/drinks or not. Ridiculous. Disinterested staff seals the deal. Im taking my biz up the road to the Cinemark.

"Tired" is the best way to describe this theater. It certainly is not the glitz and glamour of the new big places. I was a little miffed that the AMC app prices were significantly higher than in the theater (and the stupid app kept crashing when I tried to pull up my tickets), but the young lady selling to us (and the guy helping her) was very friendly and attentive, which goes a long way with me. The theater was pretty standard: Pros, no funky smells and the sound was the right level (I didnt need an ear trumpet because it was too quiet, nor were my eardrums ruptured...). My wife liked the popcorn, which bumps this place up a star, along with the good service. I think this theater will not be open much longer...it was too quiet for a Saturday night, 7pm show. But for good popcorn, a comfortable theater, and good service, Ill be back.

Never come here during a scary movie, alot of loud and obnoxious people. We went to go see The conjuring 2 and the theater was completely sold out do to it being a good movie. There was an entire row of black people behind us just talking and making loud ridiculous outburst the whole movie. Not too mention a biker group sitting next to us talking and joking the whole time. One of them was texting on his industrial size phone with the brightness to the max for half the movie till someone asked him to turn it off and made rude comments to everyone around him for the rest of the movie asking if anyone would care to "finish his nachos". The theater needs to crack down on this behavior with some sort of security! NOT HAPPY

It was an ok place my first time visiting there.I was beyond appalled that I had to pay $19.00 Plus just for myself alone even with having my student Id. They dont have small sizes of popcorn or drinks @ least that was the lie I was told because after than I saw a young lady come through with two small bags of popcorn. As I was leaving I was really surprised to see the staff just standing around doing absolutely nothing while they had the biggest mess of popcorn on the floor right in front of the check out counter. Most likely wont be coming back here but first time for everything the movie The Movie Girls Trip was great though.

When you first enter this theater there are windows where one would typically buy movie tickets. However, these windows are unoccupied and there is no sign saying to walk in and buy tickets inside. You just have to assume you just walk in which is really odd. Then, when I purchased my tickets (where one buys popcorn) the kid working the stand sold me a ticket for a movie that had started 45 minutes ago, when there was another showing beginning in 15 minutes, so that was just ridiculous. The only reason I gave this theater 3 stars instead of 2 is because the let you butter your own popcorn which I thought was cool.

Great Prices for military familues, it allows you to see the newest movies without paying more than $7.00 a ticket. The price of a regular ticket at most theaters is the price for their 3D showings. Their consession prices are the same as other theaters so expect that to be the same. Its generally not a full theater either not even on first showings of popular movies which is always a plus. Not a difficult theater to find. It isnt shine penny new but it shows the same movies as other theaters for a reduced price and same quality viewing experience...thanks Carmike!

The signs above the theater doors malfunctioned and the staff appeared to have no idea how to handle the situation. The staff attempted to give verbal directions as to which theater was showing which movie, however each staff member was not up to date on which movie was showing in which theater leading to mass confusion. My husband and I missed 20 minutes of our movie because we were directed to the wrong theater. Several other couples were misdirected as well. We received a refund after speaking to a manager and will not be returning to this location.

I wanted to stop by and say you can tell this place is under new management and that this person is actually doing things to make Carmike even better. I am so happy for Tuesday nights. I go to the movies, get a small popcorn for $2, a small drink for $2 and a box of candy for $2 and I believe there are discounts on the combos as well. I love this place and have for years so I am very happy that it is coming back up in the care that management has. So thank you Carmike people for hiring someone worthwhile.
