Ive worked at movie theaters in the past and I can tell you that the doors are locked after they stop selling tickets for security. If you need to take a phone call or a smoke let the staff know before you step out. That being said I think the way they have the ropes set up in right in front of the doors in the lobby violates fire code (they are marked as fire exits after all). The theater screens are clean and the seats are nice. The sound systems and 3D equipped auditoriums projections work well. Theres no XD at this location like many other Cinemarks have. On the weekdays they often close the box office and sell tickets from the concession stand, which means you have to wait behind all the people buying food even if youre not, which I dont appreciate.

The waiting area for tickets is right inside the front doors, so you can get there quickly without having to walk hundreds of feet. The snacks are right next to the ticketron, so you get those, and youre in! The popcorn is consistently tasty, only once in about 40 times was it too salty. I always arrive early to hit the restroom, get my tix & snacks, and get the halfway back, center stage spot. It was really sad when the theater was first built to see the amount of garbage left after a show. Its Yuba City, so I have to consider that.... The staff is friendly, and Im almost always comfortable with the temperature and sound volume. Thank you for building a nice theater in Yuba City, Cinemark, I appreciate it!

These guys lock the front doors while movies are still playing. I went out to answer a phone call, and when i tried to come back in the doors were locked. My pregnant wife and two kids were in the theater and i was stuck outside for 20 minutes banging on the door. 5 employees were right inside playing on their phones and flirting with each other and nobody helped me. i had to wait until someone left the theatre to sneak in trough the door they left from. These people suck. The theatre is nice but they need to change some of their protocols

Prices for early bird and matinee are very reasonable. The air-conditioned theater is a haven during the summer. The theater appeared clean and the customer service was good. They also play a good selection of films. ETA: I would like to reiterate how amazing the customer service is here. Friendly and knowledgeable employees and the manager, Andrew, went above and beyond while we experienced difficulties with our MoviePass.

Tonight WonderWoman and Rough Night! The lines were long, outside ticket dispensary was working only on one kiosk of two. The movies were both great! If you are a frequent goer, I recommend the Cinemark app. Its both helpful and you earn weekly discounts. Always clean in the theatre, organized and friendly service.

This is a smaller theater and the employees act like they are the only movie theater and dont have to provide the best service. It comes down to do I want to drive over an hour to a better theater or just 5 minutes to an average one. Realistically if you are going to watch a movie it doesnt matter

I have only been there twice since they rebuilt.. Its better then the old one...BUT I dont go often because the movie volume is SO LOUD, I get a headache EVERY TIME I go!! And God forbid, youre a smoker & go to a later show!...step out for a quick smoke and get LOCKED OUT!! Total B.S!!

I brought a three year old niece out to her first movie with her grandma and great grandma. From the first 9 minutes it was a nightmare. I had to take the screaming child out to lobby. The manager was so greatful for my courtesy toward everyone else that he gave me two comp tickets.

We go to the movies here pretty regularly. The staff are friendly and the theater is clean. The sound quality is good and the seating is comfortable. The tickets are pretty standard, if a little on the high side, but overall its a great place to go see a movie.

The theaters are well maintained, and very clean. The staff is always friendly and eager to help with any questions you might have, ive gone multiple times and the only issue i can think of is the large crowd of people and long lines for food.

Another big town theater where the people cant keep their conversation out in the lobby. At least on this occasion people did not decide to bring their kids to another R rated movie. Parking is 10x easier than the mall in Yuba City.

I actually had a problem that I wrote in about and the manager looked into it and found out what happened. He didnt need to do that, but he did and the problem was fixed! the staff is always very nice and helpful if you need it.

Ive lived in Yuba City for years and was excited about the new theater...the lobby is designed very poorly...short area to pay to the left, concession area very small, short lines to pay....screens, seats, OK

The theater is pretty good. Much nicer than the old one. My only complaint is the handicapped seating My dad wont come here because the only seats for him are on the center aisle where everyone walks through.

They let people who are not handicapped sit in those designated chairs. Resulted in an elderly man tripping up the staircase and cracking his head open. The theater refunded the tickets, but thats about it.

The chairs are so uncomfortable and width is to small. Constantly bumping arms with the people next to me. The sound was fairly good. Not bassy, deep enough, but excellent surround sound.
