Jean Paul Sanchez
I play here pretty frequently, and will continue to despite a love/hate relationship with this place. The conditions are pretty poor, and theres no range, but its very cheap. Its great to practice without spending too much, since golf is already a pretty expensive sport. The greens are very inconsistent and some are filled with patches. The sands are also inconsistent and some are hard as concrete. On the 18th hole, its a par 5, there are some "sand traps" about 300 yards out on the right, that are literally covered in weeds. They arent even just concrete-hard like some of the other sand traps, but COVERED in weeds and roots. Its comically sad actually. I would give it 3.5 stars despite what I wrote above, but recently I had this experience which merited a 1 star rating. It says online and on their tee time booking website that they close at 7pm. I called on a Friday at 5:20pm, asking if there was a wait. The employee told me there was no wait, and I replied "great! Ill see you soon!" I arrived at about 6:25pm (after being stuck in rush hour traffic) and when I walked into the pro shop, the employee told me that they were closed. I really wanted to golf, and dragged my wife to ride-along with me, so I said... "the tee time booking website has times until 7, and the google location has the same time." He replied "weve been closing at 6pm for years", I asked if he could please make an exception for me. He said "Sorry." and looked away. I didnt want to argue with the guy, it was an older gentleman... but it was absurd. There were golfers still playing the front nine, there was no wait for the back nine (which I asked to play), but no exception was made. I was pretty pissed off.
High season in FL; Greens fee with cart was $48 w/ tip. This course was embarrassing. Burned up; greens have 10 different kinds of weeds; tee boxes were brown - my front lawn looks better than the fairways. Other than the fact it has flags - you would think you were playing golf on someones farm. Im not a golf snob - I play public courses. Unless you completely STINK at golf (115+) and just want to knock some range balls around a course, dont bother.
Course was in ok shape, the greens were in very good shape. Had to rent clubs from them. They have a sign for new club rental but the clubs I got were a mix bag of old beat up clubs without a driver. I would play it again with my own set.
Worst course in Miami, The staff should be working in a grocery store, theres no starter and the do have a ranger which declare himself unable to handle the course and less the tee times!!!!!
There is no ranger, no starter, people just start their game as they come. No respect for tee times. Just dont come here. The $5 or $7 dollars you will save is not worth ir.
Great place to go out in practice but the course is in rough shape. But for $30 for 18 holes and cart rental you cant go wrong.
A great local coarse. Not a lot of fancy things that you do not need. Just plain old fashioned golf.
They have FOOTGOLF here. Try it out if you like soccer... Its a lot of fun.
Nice golf course. They also offer Foot Golf!
Had a good round. Greens need to be cut.
