25 minutes of commercials is unacceptable. Especially if you have a 6y with you. Either sit down after the commercials are finished and risk getting a bad seat or find some otherr theater that does not have 20 commercials before the main attraction. We ended up leaving in the middle of cars 3. 1 because the movie ended up being boring and 2. because the commercials ended up making the whole experience too long for a 6y attention span. Also. The toilets and sink are too high for a child to use properly. Typical business mentality. No thought about function.

Free parking 24/7. Perfect location. Heart of downtown Pleasant Hill. Wide variety of food options. Id recommend trying to avoid ordering anything from the cafe if youre in a hurry or dont like to wait. Its usually a bit slow. Otherwise this place is great. Extremely clean. Averaged priced food court. Comfortable seating. Great date spot. Family friendly. Overall, this place is definitely the best theatre for midnight premieres.

Loved it until, I went with a friend and mind you we both rarely go out. If it isnt to work then we stay home. Went to see a movie and a couple days later my friend had lice! My friend contracted them there, she hasnt been shopping to try anything on, doesnt share hair brushes with no one, she lives by herself. Its obvious the theater does not clean their seats correctly. Very disappointed.

After waiting in the theater until about 10 minutes after the opera (Met) was supposed to start, we were told that the disc for the movie never came in. We were given our money back. This evening had been planned for over a month and was a trip my friend made from Pleasanton. It would have been nice for the theatre to offer us - maybe one free pass or something for the inconvenience.

I had a really good movie experience here. My first time viewing a movie with their XD system. Great picture and sound system. My only issue with their XD theatre is whenever someone opens the door on left side, you get the glare on the movie screen. That was a pain because you are paying more to see a film in that theatre.

This theater is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. Theres usually ample parking because of the parking structure, the adjacent lot and the lot across the street, but these lots can get full because this theatre is surrounded by popular eateries and stores (Peets, Chipotle, Ross, Michaels - to name a few).

This place is so nice, it made me think I was at a private screening! I have saw Age of Ultron and Jurassic World here, and both showings made me feel I was in the movie (before D-BOX existed.)! 10/19/16 UPDATE: Happy 15th Birthday, Century Pleasant Hill, I have always enjoyed every experience Ive had here!

Went to see a movie, was told the only auditorium showing it had broken A/C so it was kind of hot and we could try it and get a refund if we didnt like it. The movie theater and the grocery store are supposed to be the coldest places around. Not trying to watch a "hot" movie.

Do you like movies? This Pleasant Hill cinema has lots of screens. Plus, there are restaurants and coffee stops nearby. There is a park and swim center a couple blocks away. This movie theater is in a central location and there is a big parking garage.

Typical movie theatre. Very clean and the staff is friendly. Free parking next door and easily accessed by handicapped. Clean restrooms and the reclining chairs in the theatre are extremely comfortable. The food is overpriced, but thats typical.

I like it compared to whats around (Brendon in Concord)...this theater is generally clean. Popcorn, soda and food is expensive but what theater isnt. Cant beat the location though, great place for restaurants and other shops.

I appreciate what Pleasant Hill is trying to create with this downtown spot and the theatre does a good job of contributing to the area. If nothing out of the ordinary, at least it was clean and friendly.

Nice theater and I really like how the snacks area is organized! Instead of waiting in lines you are able to walk through and pick the snack/popcorn/drinks you want and pay for them at the end.

Nothing stands out about this theater as extra exciting - its a theater. Usually pretty busy most times. Seating is decent and theater is fairly clean. No complaints about food court or staff.

Theater 5 is huge and amazing. Extreme Digital (XD) with reserved seating and large pseudo IMAX screen. Seats are leather rockers with cupholders. I did not get lice. LOL.

Clean and comfortable and the sound is usually pretty good! Take a sweater, sweatshirt, jacket out what have you, it can get a bit chilly but thats better than to warm!

Liked the location and clientele. No gangs and the theater auditoriums are clean. The theater doesnt have recliners or reserved seating everything else is a plus.

Nice small theatre in downtown Pleasant Hill. If youre going to make the effort to leave the home for a movie, might as well visit a more quaint location, right?

We like this theatre because parking structure is right next to it, place is clean, Costco sells tickets at reduced price, and good movie selection and times.

Cool theater with lots of space. Parking can be a problem on some weekends as the downtowndoes get busy. Grab a pizza across the street if you arrive early.
