I do love going here I have had some great times. Tonight I went to see Roger Sanchez. His music took me back to my first memories of great house music songs. Your probably wonder why i gave Audio one star despite the great music, stellar djays, and friendly people. Here are the Cons and the Pros. Cons: 11/21/2014 The guy with the beard who was at the stand taking the tickets was very rude. He had a very stank attitude and snap at me telling me that he didnt want my print out . He also aggressively stamped my wrist and stamped my new shirt with ink I bought from Saks. I wonder why is bitter person who acts likes he doesnt want to be there there? Another issue I had was with the Bald bartender at the rightside bar who had me waiting 10 minutes for a drink. Then my friend paid for it so I tipped him he threw the tip back at me. I never seen a bartender do that before in my life. My friend and I just shocked by his actions. After that I didnt want anymore drinks. Pros. The Door guys were friendly and fun. Best I have came across in a long time. I have no issues only praise for them! Crowd was fun, Djay was awesome. The décor is Space Age 2001 odyssey homage. The centerpiece behind the Dj booth is fitted with LED lights that change color and help highlight the show-stopping artist. The dancefloor has ample space and the crowd appreciates the music. The club is totally worthy of 5 stars but the 2 bad apples spoil the bunch. Fix that and the place would be perfect!

Came here the second night it was officially open. I got there really early 9:20, which I rarely ever do, but I heard about the awful experience people had the night before. I had no problems getting in. There was no line and I wore proper club attire. (Note: Website does not mention dress code, but they will enforce it). As expected, the place was pretty empty because well it was 9:30. The place stayed pretty empty for quite a while, even though people were telling me a good line had formed outside. By 10 people were texting me about how they were stuck in line, even though the club wasnt even half full yet. I would see like a small group come in every now and then. This always gets me about a club, why would you hold the line? You make money when are in the club right? As far as the club itsself, its a pretty good looking club. Small, but well put together. The lighting on the wall is unique and unexpected. The tube of LEDs behind the DJ reminds you of the beginning of Space Mountain and all the fun that awaits. They even have wall that becomes transparent revealing dancing girls (like at Light). Unfortunately thats where the excitement ends. Maybe its because we got there too early and saw that it was pretty much just a room with nice lighting. Or maybe it needs fog machines and confetti. Whatever it is, it doesnt live up to its hype. Ill probably give it another try when it has had sometime to work out the kinks.

I went to Audio for the first time for Grum on April 6 and it was a fantastic club going experience through and through. The doormen were friendly and expeditious and the coat check costs only $4 which is rather reasonable in my book. Inside the club the bartenders were friendly and managed to handle long lines without issue and, at least on Thursdays, you are able to sit in any of the booths. I was very much a fan of the placement of the DJ booth and how the DJ wasnt too far "removed" from the crowd as it really set a nice, personal vibe between the crowd and the performer. Id highly recommend this club for anyone looking for a semi-upscale club going experience and, at least in my opinion, the crowd was sublime to say the least.

I love Audio. The sound system is amazing (pretty sure they are Funktion 1s), the DJs they book are awesome, the bouncers are really friendly, and the bar staff is great. Beers are $5 which is reasonable given the quality of the club. Some criticisms: they advertise free entry before 11pm, but takes a while to get through the line and it doesnt matter if you were in line at 11pm, you need to be in the door so you really need to line up at like 10:30-10:40 to get free entry. Also, the place is a touch douchey with bottle service around the sides, but not super douchey. The dancefloor is not huge (but it is awesome!) so sometimes you get some jerks that dance violently and spill drinks everywhere.

If you like men in business suits and girls in shoes they cant dance in for more than 10 minutes, this place is for you. It is a really beautiful club with great sound and lights, but its very girls-night-out / lecherous and uncoordinated men for me. The bar is mostly populated with Bacardi and Malibu, which should say enough. BUt the drinks are reasonably priced (except they REALLY fill your glass with ice leaving not so much room for alcohol) and the bar and door staff are friendly. But German techno and office wear are not a great combination in my book. There is no dress code but we felt out of place in t-shirts. A shame. Personally I preferred the less formal crowd at Mezzanine.

In town visiting some friends and had to make it to Audio. The main act cancelled last minute - the owners offered a guest pass entry option on-line (very sweet they take care of patrons like this). The staff were all super nice, service was fast, place was very clean. We did our research before heading down so pretty much knew about crowds, prices, space etc. Audio lived up to its name for sure. Definitely for its size, the sound easily competes with the best. Hate to read that some had bad experiences. To the owners, thanks for sharing your love of dance and SOUND with the rest of us. Will definitely return. If you like to get your groove on, then Audio SFO will not disappoint!

This place is pretty awesome. The setup of the venue is very refreshing and allows for tons of dancing room, regardless of where you stand anywhere inside the whole venue. Sound system is one of the best in the city, you get full deep sound everywhere. The bar could be bigger, it gets pretty crowded, so I usually go for bottle service. The bottle prices here are more expensive than other places and are starting to go with Vegas style pricing for popular nights. The DJs that come through here have been awesome. Destructo twice, Vanilla Ace, Viceroy, etc. If you are looking for good music, at a more stylish venue, without the nonsense, this is the place to go.

I actually had a pretty good time here. Its a fairly small space with one upstairs bar and one downstairs bar in the restaurant section. The night I went they played some deep house music which I enjoyed. It reminded me of Burning Man when I heard the music. I must say that the majority of the crowd was guys though. What I REALLY liked though was the downstairs bar. I was served by I think Ricky or someone with an R. He was awesome. Had the absinthe which was nice and unique. We also got 7 fireball shots which came complete with the bartender lighting his hand on fire and blowing a fireball off it. SOOO cool! Definitely plan on coming back!
