I went to see Hidden Figures here. The seats are so big and amazing, the sound and screen is pretty good, the popcorn was a bit burnt but still edible..... So why am I giving this theater two stars? The staff are incredible rude. First of all, when I tried to order tickets at the box office, the lady there had a microphone and it kept popping out, so I couldnt really hear what she was saying. She refused to move to another station where the mic was not broken. She also accused me of "touching the equipment" when I did not touch the glass or the metal speaker. Then, she threatened to call the police, and when I followed her to try to ask her why, she went into a staff only room. We did end up getting our tickets, and a security guard came in the middle of the movie to apologize, but still.. they need to get their staff together. So what I can recommend to anyone planning to see a movie at this theater: buy tickets online. You will avoid the box office, and you will also get better seats as the seats are reserved. Avoid the staff, and just try to go straight to your theater, and you will enjoy your movie. DO NOT buy tickets at the box office.

Very old concept...not current theatre...concessions are out dated, cant even provide coffee and tea for the cold weather, to relax too... this theatre has kept its poor standards for years...it has been notified to beef up, its concessions, but refuses at the corporate level... Managers for years have refused to talent themselves, to advocate for better concessions... Popcorn is not the only thing...what about the old hard pink saccharin -sweeterner...they are too cheap to replace with Spenda... Have no desire to make themselves as like AMC! Cinnabarre Mtlake Terrace is where the fun is... Regal is good for small families and birthday parties... have to address everyone as the 1950s... by last name only??? Where does that come??? More friendly is a first name basis...LOL☆☆ NOW...I GIVE REGAL ALDERWOOD A 5-STAR... THE NEW SEATS KEEP U COMING BACK! ... A GREAT PLACE FOR COMFORT, AND, FAMILY...QUAINT, AND, QUIET! PS: I CAN BRING MY OWN SUGAR, SINCE I GIVE-UP, TRYING TO GET MORE, THEN SWEET & LOW... THE CHAIRS, MAKE UP FOR IT! LOL

Was there for MetOpera viewing. Theater lights were not dimmed until 10 mins into the production, after 2 people asked for them to be dimmed. Lights did not come on until 10 mins after credits, when most viewers were trying to go home. Most in crowd are geriatric and need adequate lighting to move safely. We pay $23 for a ticket, and should have service comparable to that given patrons seeing other movies/showings. It is the theaters responsibility to learn when the show is ending so lights can be turned back on. Also, we were at the snack bar for something to drink, and after refilling one Pattons drink (the only one there when we stepped up for service), the young man behind the counter found it necessary to remove a pizza from the oven, cut it up, and put in the display case before serving us. Why? (We did make it back to our seats with 5 seconds to spare before the show resumed, fortunately.) Am looking into other options for opera performances.

Super plush electric recliners are the way to go. It can be tough to get a seat at times b/c its reserved seating and you have to do a bit more planning. However I mostly love this place for those lazy weekday matinees with just me and my little one. The seats are big enough and stable enough to not freak her out like the ones that auto-collapse like standard movie seats. And at nearly 3 years old, there are a gazillion questions at max volume and lucky for us, almost every matinee has been empty except for us. Tack on that they have a kids snack package with a tiny popcorn, gummy snack and drink for $6 & you have a mommy and me movie outing. Oh & children under 3 are free too. Technically, they cant "reserve" a seat & in a crowded movie, you may have too put your child in your lap, but like I said for matinees, no one is in there besides us.

The Regal Cinemas Alderwood 7 and RPX is a typical theater. I recently visited to watch The Jubgle Book and paid to view it within the Regal Premium eXperience theater. I was impressed by how nice it looked when first walking in, but quickly realized the function just wasnt there. Every seat within the theater is an electric recliner featuring two buttons for adjusting your chair. That is a nice touch and the recliners were certainly comfortable, but the leather used to make the seats creates an enormous amount of noise when adjusting them. This could be heard throughout the theater during the movie. Additionally, the large metal bars behind the chairs stick up and obscure portions of the screen when reclining in the seats, so you and up sitting upright anyways. I would go to the theater again, but wont be paying for RPX anytime soon.

This has been my favorite multiplex for years until today. We chose to come here instead of the Regal Cinemas in Seattle for the Metropolitan Opera Live performance of "Rusalka". At the beginning of the opera the feed was lost multiple times and we eventually all were viewing a screen-sized set-up screen for a Dish. No one from the theatre ever came in to inform us what was going on or what the status was. We were first in line for a refund and a long line had formed behind us. The couple behind us said this was the second time this has happened at this theatre for the MetOpera Live HD performance. My friend has been to 4 of these live operas at a Regal theatre in Seattle and this has never happened there. We will be going elsewhere from now on for these events.

Regal cinemas alderwood 7 in Lynnwood Wa has cockroaches. So gross. Was in the middle of watching Wonder Woman , and a cockroach was cralling on the screen. I told the manager behind the concessions counter. He said he would come and check it out and take care of it. He never did. The rest of the movie i felt super creeped out and the cockroach was still cralling around the screen. As I walk out the manager I complained to just stared at me with a sad and guilty look, as if he allready knew they have a cockroach problem. I then gave him a thumbs down and continued to leave and go home. Manager still Did nothing. I will never go back there again. This happed 07-22-2017.

I like Regal much better than the AMC at Alderwood. The AMCs escalator is usually out of order and the stairs are pretty steep and slippery when wet. There are no stairs at Regal and also the parking is better here, they never run out of spots. Many times at the AMC at Alderwood, we had to park really far away. We usually get sodas and popcorn and the popcorn always tasted good, probably because we only go on weekends, when popcorn is fresh. I didnt like the expensive new section with a larger screen. They were only showing the Steve Jobs movie here and it was very expensive and not worth it.

Theater has recently been remodeled. All shows are reserved seating, so if there is a specific place you like to sit, you have to get your tickets online or well in advance. This was a huge pain on Thanksgiving night when we discovered this new practice. The RPX theater is huge, sound is amazing. Its clear to me, though, that this theater may be newly remodeled and is trying to cater to a more upscale crowd with the assigned seats, but it makes it unpleasant for a spontaneous trip to the movies. Next time, Ill try a different theater to avoid the assigned seating hoopla.
