Have loved the quality and size of this theater for a year now. However attended two movies over the last three weeks and couldnt believe it could get any colder in the theater than it was the first time! Layered + a full length wood coat + gloves and I still was miserable. Others continued to wear their hats if they had them. The complaints of the cold was a quiet roar as all left the theater - a few hovering around the fireplace in an attempt to warm up. My complaints to the theater attendant resulted in a chuckle and a statement that he thought someone was working on it Friday. (It was Monday). The least they could have done was warn that it was miserably cold in the theater before taking my money. Sadly I will be very hesitant to return to Lake Twin Theater. Even if the heat source is repaired the theaters handling of the problem and the response to my complaint is not.

Quaint, Not Many Kids, Great Location! I love seeing movies at our little local theater. Its small, charming, and shows excellent films. They participate in the foreign film festival, so there are some real treats to see here. Never too crowded, few kids means a typically pleasant movie experience each and every time. I find the movie experience so much more pleasant than the gigantic multi screen theaters in town. (No offense to kids.....they can just sometimes be bad movie guests.) Enjoy dinner nearby, take a walk in the park, and go see a movie. Lets support this little gem of a theater to ensure they can continue to give us this nice movie experience in the future. Note: Recent remodeling means there will be food and wine (or so I hear!) available on the outdoor patio this summer. How great is that!?

This is the best bar and restaurant in Lake Oswego. For the life of me, I cannot understand why ANYONE still goes to the hot mess that is Stickmen, with their laughably abysmal service. The Lake is where its at! Best cocktails in town and a tasty menu (the crispy duck salad is the best salad Ive ever had), served by a friendly staff. Grab a patio table and watch life on the lake. Oh yeah, its also a movie theater. I almost forgot! Their dollar noon movies for kids are an affordable family activity, with a great $5 kids menu.Trivia, live music, events. This place has it all and more. A really wonderful addition to the community.

This is Patricks mom - dont have my own Google account. The theater is usually excellent - but our family was beginning a new Holiday tradition - going to a movie on Christmas night. Looked up the Lake schedule and picked the movie the family had not seen - Django. No one knew much about this movie. When we arrived to buy tickets with the kids, the staff did not mention that the movie was R rated for extreme violence. Very disappointing. Then entire family was disgusted and we walked out early - reeling from the contents of the movie. Just a word from the staff would have helped us to make a better choice.

I like this theatre very much. It is not big, the screen is not huge, but it has a nice "small town" atmosphere and is less expensive than the giant theatres. The only thing is, like any theatre these days, the snacks they offer are not healthy enough. Even though they are better than most! I would really appreciate the option for real butter on popcorn, and more drinks without sugar or chemicals. To be fair, their food is still healthier than other theatres, and I like how they offer parmesan and brewers yeast with their popcorn.

Lake Theater is great if you want a quiet drink / bite to eat sitting out by the lake or if you want to watch one of the latest movies. The staff are friendly and are great at going over their latest beer taps or cocktails. The food here is great pub food. Their pizzas are more on the traditional thin crust style, but with toppings that you wouldnt find anywhere else. The movie theatre is pretty spacious and comfortable, get there early and grab your drink to take in with you.

Totally disappointed with Lake Theater tonight (9.12.17 around 615pm). Looking to savor the last few days of summer on the deck with my family. Stood at the bar to order a drink for my wife and me and was simply ignored by the bartender who was clearly not "swamped". Stood for about 10 minutes. He even took about wiping the bar down without acknowledging me. So bummed at yet ANOTHER Lake Oswego joint within 1/2 mile from home that has crappy service...what a bummer.

We went to the Lake Theater Friday night to watch Going In Style. The service was friendly, the menu was eclectic -- bistro meets old-timey (but remodeled with style) movie theater. We sat in the balcony with comfy seats in the event room. The theater shows old movies until time for the scheduled movie to start, which was fun and got all of us in the balcony (all strangers) talking and laughing. Definitely a fun experience and a cool venue.

single file line service regardless if youre seeing a movie or not. The few times ive gone to watch movies there, they didnt have popcorn ready. its an easy walk though. this place is missing the potential train. the family now makes the drive to one of the billion other theaters within 7 miles. I dont understand how this place wins awards? do they give those awards out based on the idea and potential?

Im only giving them 2 stars because its on the lake. The food was gross and the service was weak. My wife got the margarita pizza and it was super greasy. It felt like you were taking a shot of grease when you took a bite. The salad that I got had old, mushy tomatoes. Bartender was rude. We regretted our dinner decision tonight.

Enjoyed Jersey Boys there a few weeks ago. The renovations were very well done. The cafe menu is varied and what we had (a hummus and veg platter) very nice. The rose wine was outstanding! Movie and sound quality were excellent and seats comfortable. The whole place was clean and staff welcoming.

I consider the Lake Twin to be one of the better things about living in Lake Oswego. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable about film The theatre clean, cozy and they bring good movies to the community. Where else can you walk out the back door of a movie theatre and have a beautiful lake view?

I had a "sneak" preview of the new theater & cafe. It is amazing! It is more than a theater and cafe. It is a place for movies, food, drinks, meetings, parties, presentations..and more! The work done is beautiful and well done. Fantastic!
