Im very frustrated...I love the golf course itself...but being I live literally on the south course...in Racquet Club...I find it extremely frustrating and very annoying that every morning at around 6am...I hear the guy with the VERY LOUD lawn mower and VERY BRIGHT light shining in my window and waking me up very early in the morning! Id rather prefer they do it in the evenings after the rounds are over! It is a very loud nuisance! Very early in the morning! Its not right to all of us that own homes or condos whose backyard happens to be the golf course...of course we bought our homes for the views and the amazing well kept grounds...but really? 5:30 to 6:00am everyday? We have to be woken up by an extremely loud and bright lighted frickin lawn mower? Not cool at all Foxtail! Work out a different time please! Sincerely....all of us who live on the South Course!!!!

How am I best friends weddings here great service great atmosphere a little odd have the dance floor so separated from the main dining area made it hard to have a cohesive agenda and schedule where people could sit and yet still enjoy the different parts of the wedding schedule. That cant be underestimated the great service especially the bar great attention to detail food could have come out more uniformly and time but still well prepared although portions seems light hotspot for an outdoor wedding

The North course is a good, interesting track. The greens are usually very fast and firm. The fairways and tee boxes are good, too, but can get VERY firm in the summer. Staff are great, but the clubhouse is small and cramped during busy times. The staff at Wedgewood are fantastic. The South course is cheap and usually easy to get on, but the conditions can be suspect. The greens are usually good, but the groundskeeping staff spend most of their time on the North course.

Two 18 hole courses. The pricing for a round of 18 holes is on point. South course has some drainage issues, but for the price, you cant beat it. Definitely the South course is the best value in Sonoma County. I have been playing golf in Sonoma County for 20 plus years and noticed that you can end up paying more for a 9 hole only course than you would for 18 holes on the South. North course is in better condition but costs a maybe 10 or so more dollars to play.

I recently won a golf package at Foxtail North, on Marty Luries KNBR 680 weekend sports talk show. I have driven past this course, a few times, and always wished I could play there. Well, my wish came true. I will be playing the North Course this friday at noon. I cant tell you how excited I am. I will send in my after review as soon as I can.

Great for beginning golfers. Very reasonable prices. Easy to lose balls in rough just off fairway. Sand needs to be replaced badly. Lots of beginning golfers, sometimes rules not followed, can experience long wait times at tee boxes. If youre a seasoned golfer, head north to Santa Rosa, or south to Petaluma.

Being from San Francisco proper, a round of golf like this would cost well over $100 in the city. Even having only played the cheaper course, $30 for 18 holes and cart on a weekend on a well maintained course is definitely my golf deal of the summer. Just wish it was closer to San Francisco.

Great course, great price, but the tolerance on jeans at the course is an eye sore. Not to mention the crowd that attracts slows down everyone. Three-some with one walker shouldnt be tagging a threesome with carts almost a hole behind. Otherwise its awesome

didnt play golf, but rating as a venue for a wedding ceremony and reception, friendly staff but definitely more for golf, banquet room is nice in term of size and bar placing, dance floor is a bit small and off to the side

Foxtail has two courses, North and South, both 18h. North is better maintained then the south and is also more expensive.

OK golf course but for supposedly having revamped the course and its drainage, it was pretty muddy.
