Went on a Sunday date night, not horrible, I was disappointed with the service. The waitress really ruined the experience. The drink menu is great, they all sound so great. I would recommend doing for drinks and one of their burgers. I was torn between two drinks, I asked the waitress which one would be better to try. (margarita or Elderflower) She was almost irritated that I asked. She said the Elderflower its pretty. I said I would try it. We also ordered an appetizer ( bruschetta bread with shrimp) and order both of our meals. While I ordered, I was going to get a salad but taking out loud said, "no, nevermind we are getting an appetizer." My husband ordered the Cow ate the pig with bleu cheese fries and I ordered the chicken gremilli. We were almost half way done before she came back to check on us. My husband asked about the appetizer, she said "I never heard you order one, so I never rang it in so thats why you didnt get it!" I was speechless. My husband said we still wanted it. What a disappointment, two big slices of soggy bread tipped with balsamic vinegar, tomatoes, tiny pieces of avocados and maybe 5 small pieces of shrimp. The manager walked around to all the tables on either side and never stopped at ours. I didnt want to complain about the waitress, who knows what kind of night she was having. The restaurant market is about up selling and pleasing the customer. I expect a better experience from an up scale restaurant and I didnt get that.

We went on a Friday night for my friends birthday. Started the night off great at Oishii Sushi, then headed to ProAbition for a fun new experience. I was very disappointed. The "club" had a $10 cover charge. Im not really sure why since the place was only about half full the entire night. Being a craft cocktail bartender, I was very excited about trying out what they had to offer. I was met with drinks that were not mixed well, unbalanced were very reminiscent of cheap well drinks youd get from a hot, female "bartender" at a club (at least hers would be mixed well). All this with the sting of $10/drink. To make matters worse, with 3-4 bartenders and no real "line", I waited 30 minutes to get my order taken AND that only happened because one of the ladies in our group happened to know the bartenders. This visit failed on both a craft cocktail level and on a club level. Make good drinks slowly, or make mediocre drinks fast, but dont make mediocre drinks slowly and charge me to come in and charge a high price for the drinks. On a side note, the music was mainly Top 40 and Hip Hop from the 90s till today. Most of the crowd consisted of "Sevilla Type" women who were more interested in being the center of attention than actually dancing.

Absolutely ridiculous! We were a party of 7 and one of the first ones to wait prior to them opening. They slowly seated everyone and even those who came 45 minutes after us. When I questioned them on why we hadnt been seated after 1 hour of waiting, their response was that everyone had reservations. So, that means that anyone walking in and waiting will not be seated ever because reservations are first and we have no priority whatsoever?? This is absolutely absurd! At any restaurant you go to, they seat you as you walk in, and there is a wait only when there are no tables available but you are still seated when one becomes available. For a restaurant that just opened their doors with more than half of their tables available, there is just no excuse! Reservations just means you will be guaranteed a table for the time you reserved it so you dont wait. This place does not know how to do business. No wonder more than half of the customers left! They surely dont care if they get your business or not so dont even bother coming here. No customer service! Will never go again! They deserve 0 stars!!!

Went for dinner and drinks with a large group last night for my girlfriends birthday. Started out ok... Service was a bit slow but once our whole group was there the waitress did a great job the rest of the night. Food was good. However, when we went to pay, there was an issue with the credit card scanner. We had our credit cards held for about an hour. The waitress was visibly upset by the situation. I asked to speak with a manager... One was apparently in the basement, and one was at the door sitting down looking pretty relaxed near the doorman (Saturday night, 11PM). When we walked up to him, he said something like "ok, run the cards". Our cards came back out a few minutes later. Sketchy and unprofessional.

ProAbition is one of a kind! This place was very fun and interesting! I really loved the 1920s feel and style throughout the restaurant. This place is right next to the Mission Inn, in historic downtown Riverside. Lots of restaurants in Riverside can be lower end, establishments sometimes. This place was very upscale and elegant, definitely a comfortable place to grab a great whiskey! I believe they had over 60 Whiskeys available at the bar. The food was absolutely amazing, and consisted of items you cant find anywhere around here. DEFINITELY COMING BACK! Great restaurant!

The first time I went to this restaurant was in the fall of 2015 and the food and service was amazing. We considered it a place to go out and enjoy the night. Something has changed since then. We have been there about 4 other times throughout 2016, and every time we go there is something that either the kitchen or the servers mess up. At the price level and location of this restaurant, it is unacceptable, but the food is very good, so its sad to see. Hopefully management can turn it around and get it together soon, otherwise Im giving up on it.

Its hard to base a judgement on one night. Our food was good, the staff was over extended but friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to try it and will visit again. If you like whisky the list is extensive. Following up after a second visit. The bar service was excellent, truly fantastic staff. Our appetizers were great but the chicken entrees were not. The presentation and concept were good but the execution missed the mark. A diner next to us was very pleased with his burger. I would go back again but will likely stick to the bar food.

Sooooooo it took an hour and like 20 minutes to get the mac and cheese and mango salmón. My party had ordered many smokehouse burgers and of 10 burgers, 5 were burned. It even took a long span of minutes to just get a water refill. Not once were we offered more of our drinks. Food was sent back and one person in our party did not eat at all. I had to make sure they took my side order of fries of my check because I never even received them. This experience was ridiculous. Getting our checks was another 10 minute wait.

Typical marketing ploy... provide great food, promote great happy hr food n drinks, then after gaining a following, cut the good chef (they replaced him), drop happy hour (and menu items) and charge $10.00 for a House margarita claiming "Milagro is.... our house tequila"... oh... and its an extra $1.50 for the tiny glass (and mucho ice) because we pour 2 oz instead of 1.5..... rrrrrright... Nothing worse than a business Playing / taking advantage of good / loyal people... Just my .02
