We came for my husband and our friends Birthday... Our entire group wasnt here so we waited at the bar for a while. Once everyone Arrived we notified the manager and he said that he would get us seated right away! 20+ min. At the bar and no contact with us. I had to grab another hostess to get our group seated ( at a table that had been ready since we arrived an hr prior) Food was great! Server, very sweet. However when the Salsa dancing started, we were asked to give $5 per man for lessons. I, nor my friends could find that there would be a charge for lessons. $5 isnt a lot, but it was the principle... When I asked about the "Red Ticket" that was needed to get free lessons, the manager told us it was listed on the website... I couldnt find it on what was provided via phone "Website" Overall, fun environment, great flamenco show, and once those salsa dancers started the place came alive.... But HORRIBLE customer service by management, super rude and unapologetic. We spent over $400 on food and drinks while there. A little more graciousness would have been nice... Especially for a place which only rates an average of 3 stars on Yelp! Fun place , BAD management!!!!

First Time at Tapas....BAD BAD Food, Sangria was the worse I have ever had...it just tasted like rotten punch and no wine or alcohol in it.....Bad experience and Bad treatment from management: at the time of Salsa teaching, they were asking for $5 per person if want to participate....Ok so my friend just stood up by our table where we had dinner and the manager came up to us (short brown man) and told her to seat down or else she has to pay....he repeated in a rude manner he was going to charge her, she responded "I dont want to participate I just want to watch" then he was even more rude to say if you dont seat down you will be kick out of here!!, we were very upset how we were treated after we had dinner and drinks it amounted well over $100. We will not return nor recommend to any body to go there. Its embarrassing for this establishment to call it "Tapas" its a Spanish Restaurant where every body should be nice and friendly...

Went to celebrate a friends birthday. I expected good food so we had dinner there. Ordered the house Paella for 2. The order was huge big enough for 4. It was under seasoned and could barely find any meats; we got a big plate of rice that I could have made at home from a box. The owner or manager Rodrigo was extremely rude. I will not complain too much because the servers were GREAT with us. The music environment is the ONLY!!!!! Thing this place has going for it. Expect to pay $10 to get in and $5.00 for twenty minutes of salsa lessons. I would not come back. Theres better places in Long Beach.

We came her in a large group and service was horrible. They took for ever to serve us. Didnt even bring us water until we had been here for a long time. Food took one and half hours to serve. I had Paella and it was salty and tasted bad. The server was rude and was always unhelpful. They took so long in bringing our food that we didnt even get to participate in the salsa dance lessons they gave since we had just gotten our food. It was suppost to be a nice celebration and they ruined our night. I would have given them less stars if it was possible.

Not worth a penny . Went to celebrate the 16 birthday of my daughters best friend who is passionate for Spanish culture and was getting ready for a trip abroad. We ordered our food at 9.01 pm , food was brought at 10 pm. Reheated with no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. The servers tried hard to be nice but the place is just disappointing.Bathrooms could be cleaner and in better repair, they look and smell horrible. Owners should put some of the profit on making a better place. Not coming back . Not recommending this place either.

Dry, cold food. Entertainment was mediocre. Nothing special at all.. Pork chop was extremely dry. It was like eating hard tasteless jerky. Sangria was just simply kindergarten punch. No alcohol at all. Before, and during entertainment was pretty empty. After the show (when people are allowed on the dance floor ~ 9:30ish) was when people started showing up for the nightclub part of it. Paella, which is a simple rice dish was the only decent thing. Would not return and definitely would not recommend.

No se lo recomiendo a nadie, es sucio, la comida fria, sin sabor, platos plasticos, hasta encontre debajo del mantel que se movio por lo chico que era, goma de mascar petrificada. Jamas volvere.

This review is strictly on salsa dancing, never had food here. Good weekly salsa and Bachata dancing. Not crowded, but always just enough people to dance with. Ive been Friday and Sundays, Fridays its fun when they open the Bachata room for two dance floors. And they have street tacos. Dancers are usually beginners to intermediate so good salsa place for birthdays and for locals to the PC.

The website hours and actual hours are not correct. It is not open when they say and they do not answer phone calls. Its a good place for salsa but note salsa is now on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the restaurant is not open on Tuesday. I finally got to go for salsa and the place is very good for salsa and the food is great. The service however is not that great.

Su exquisita comida, su excelente música, su ambiente increíble y la atención que brindan, hace que regrese siempre. Gracias por los bellos momentos ahí disfrutados.

Cant even give it a star! Ordered three tapas dishes and all were sent back. Waitress was a total sweetheart, but no idea what was happening in the kitchen. Never had a bad tapas anywhere in the world - until now.... I couldnt post the review without a star. True rating is ZERO stars, sad and sorry for the poor review

Terrible food. Apparently this is a night club and not a restaurant. Went there many times when i lived here 10 years ago. Not the same...run down. Reheated precooked bar snack food. This is clearly a bar and not a restaurant now days. Too bad it used to be good in the day

this place is a dirt hole. The staff is incredibly rude. Dont dare bring children here on a saturday, the super intelligent bouncer will try to ID them. As if he couldnt tell they were 6 and 8. many other great restaraunts in close proximity.

The entertainment on Saturday nights is great, the food is good but a bit on the pricey side for the portion sizes, and the service is really slow. It is a fun time for a night out, will be back and bring some friends and family.

Run, do not!! Eat here! Horrible service, ran out of food at 8pm on a Friday night and only 1/3 of my party got their food. I made arrangements 2 weeks in advance. Also, food received had a hair and was sub par, at best.

Best Place to Celebrate. I went for my birthday with my family. Everybody loved the Paella and tapas. Great Flamenco show and Salsa Dance. All in one night! I really recommend this restaurant / nightclub.
