Ok so this was my first and only time going to this place. We get there and they try to charge $20 a head cover. So we get inside and they are way over capacity and it is so muggy and smells like smelly arm pits. We have to wait forever for a standing table to open and it is shoved in a place where only two people can stand at it and there are 7 of us. There are multiple gogo dancing cages but only 1 gogo dancer that only danced for a few mins and would leave and then just didnt get back up there. She had a pretty face but otherwise should not have been a gogo dancer if you catch my drift. So I go to have a smoke outside and ask where I can go because the only outside area I see is this tiny fenced off corridor that we walked through to get inside. They tell me to go upstairs to the salsa floor so I do. HOLY CRAP! Down stairs smelled like roses compared to up there. I get up there, it is "outdoors" mind you, and it was more muggy than inside and smelled stronger like b.o. than inside with an even stronger stench of dirty vagina. I had to turn around and walk back down stairs to ask if I could just right outside the fenced off corridor to get some air and I was told no or I would have to pay $10 to get back in. So I suffer through the night and finally just accept my fate and try to go back inside and enjoy myself. So Im sitting on a ledge that our table is pushed up against and I start to relax a little after I have two vodka red Bulls that were tiny but strong but most definitely not worth $15 a pop. Then one of the security comes up and tells us we have to give up the table we have been at for an hour and a half because someone bought it! What kind of club doesnt have an alloted amount of tables for that kind of thing?!?!?! The rest should be first come first served. I drove all the way down the mountain to go to this place and if it was possible to get a refund on my wasted night and expenses I would. The only good things about this place were the bald white bar tender at the bar right in front of the door down stairs was very nice and the music.

While spending our Christmas vacation in CA my husband and I had the opportunity to eat dinner at Cafe Sevilla in Riverside. We had reservations with our family and some friends, a total of 9 people, and after walking around the Mission Inn area we became hungry prior to our reservation. We entered the restaurant expecting a wait for our table, but were seated immediately in a comfortable booth. While we waited for the rest of our party we were served drinks and we spent our time perusing the menu. I had eaten paella before, but all the other menu items sounded foreign. After some time we decided to try some of the flatbread pizza and bread with garlic aioli. Can words describe the flavor and quality we were served? The bread was fresh from the oven and the aioli was so delicious it was hard to not eat it with a spoon when the bread was gone. We promptly ordered another loaf, and then another. By the time the rest of our party joined us we had decided on the 6 sausage paella and the meatball tapas for my husband and I to share. My in laws are vegan and they enjoyed the vegetable paella and of course the bread. After a few wonderful hours of chatting in the wonderful setting and devouring our food, we felt satisfied and very pleased with our choices. The waiter we had started the meal with had gone home early, but this small inconvenience was hardly noticed as we received our bills and realized how inexpensive the feast we had consumed was! For both my husband and I our ticket came to $35, and we had ordered 3 loaves of bread with aioli, the meatball tapas and a serving for 1 of the 6 sausage paella. I had been expecting to pay much more for the marvelous dinner, but we left feeling even better knowing how cost effective the meal was! If we ever have the chance to visit Riverside again we will definitely be stopping for a meal here!

Funny how all the 1-2 star reviews dont survive here for more than a week or two. Further shame... my review, re-posted: The reviews indicating that service can be slow, and the kitchen erratic are not emphatic enough. This Kitchen IS often criminal, especially for the prices charged. The wait-staff are not ready for prime time- but prime time it is. The paella, which should be a signature dish, was absent any noticeable saffron & muddled w/ wrong spices. The bonus chicken in this dish was rubbery to the point of being almost inedible. The overall effect was just sad. The second main course option we had was scarcely any better. The "tapas course" was all salad and no tapas. The food took nearly forever. Well, you can snack on bread, right?- wrong! Bread for those who wanted it was a big production & charged at $4/ per to simply pad that already prodigious bill. In Spain, bread is served with every meal- and lots of it. This is a fact of life there. Why not here? The pastry chef for that night should be given a raise. The live music was great- as is Sevillas claim to fame. Just about everyone else could be fired. Including management who bets that Riverside boredom & unknowing guests, coupled with great music & dancing will have you trotting the bills out of your wallet for any manner of sloppy fancy Spanish food. I can not say it loud enough: this kitchen is a travesty- and worse than that for the prices charged.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ive been there a few times with friends and we always had complaints. Last time we were three of us and more people would join later. We specifically asked our server to keep a separate bill for us because we wanted to have dinner and drinks. At the end of the night, we paid our itemized bill and left. One of us paid cash and my friend and I paid with our cards. Two days later, I noticed that I had been overcharged $16.61 on my debit card. Called the restaurant to complain and to make the story short, apparently somebody from the rest of the group that joined us later disputed a charge for a sangria pitcher ($28) so the server or manager thought it was wise to charge the pitcher to my friend and myself after we had long departed the restaurant and paid our bill in full. After an argument with them, they agreed to reimburse me my money so next day I went back to get my money. Suffice to say, that Javier, the general manager, told me that somebody needed to be kept responsible so thats why they went ahead and overcharged me. I finally got my money back, but Im never going back there, some of their dishes are tasty, but the drinks are almost non alcoholic. Definitely not worth it!

I have to say, this is a nice place to come enjoy a night out. The atmosphere is great, the music adds to what ever occasion you may or may not be celebrating. The food was just not my style. It was not bad, actually, quite enjoyable from what my wife said. Definitely a little over priced - Sorry -. The two stars is a direct reflection of our service. Once we said we were not ordering alcohol (it seemed) our waitress tuned us out. I know this, because she forgot our drinks all together. Napkins, refills (once we got our drinks) were prompted. This all would have gone unnoticed until the couple behind us was seated towards the end of our meal. Wow, we wished we were them!! Their server walked them through the menu, advised them on courses and asked if they were celebrating a special occasion (this didnt make my wife feel too special as this was her birthday). At the end, our server did notice Birthday cards and brought out an additional desert in addition to the one we ordered. All in all my wife was happy with my attempt to eat outside our normal places and we learned that we could have enjoyed this a little more with Proper service.
