If I could give it zero stars, I would. This place is a hot mess. If you sit in the back room, next to the arcade, you can forget about service if the large table is occupied. Want a DRAFT beer... it costs $6! The Calamari may as well have been deep fried rubber. The chicken wings.... CLEARLY frozen, reheated and then brushed with Kroger BBQ sauce. All of that and we only had to wait 15 minutes for the server and then 20 minutes for ANY food. 35 minutes and .... ONE round! As a 3-year San Clemente resident this is easily the worst place I have visited, and it isnt even close.

Jenea made my first, and final experience here an awful one. She was so disturbingly rude and I hate to take it to a racial place but I was made to feel invisible. Another customer across the bar noticed me waving both my arms in the air at her and started waving back to me. After about an hour sitting with friends. Waiting to get a drink, I stood up and walked inside the bar. Still, I was ignored. I had to tap her on the shoulder and ask her to come serve me and my friends. She gave me an attitude, told me to get out of the bar, then came over a few minutes later.

The OC Tavern is a good sports bar with TVs for days - they can get anything you want to watch and are always willing to find it. Sometimes they feature live music on the weekends in their background - always a good time. With advanced notice, their backroom makes an ideal place for a gathering, too. I reserved it and had them cater an event for fifty people - the managers handled the entire thing with ease. It was painless and everyone had a great time.

I have been here a few times and enjoyed the bar and watching the games. The incentive was to book a room close by so I can walk to the Tavern and you received a 10% discount. My last visit, I mention to the bartender I get 10% off and showed her my key from the hotel. She did not take it off. When she brought back my check, she took the discount off, but, raised the price of my ice tea a dollar. So I took it out of her tip. 25% became 15%

Waited over 45 minutes on a slow sunday before even getting appetizers or salads. When we asked if we could just pay for our drinks and leave, we were given horrible attitudes. However, Usually the food is really good. Expensive drinks, bad service, But usually we have fun.

It seemed like a nice place that we always passed, so we decided to stop in. Even though it was really empty, our everything seemed to take forever. The food, once it came out, was ok, but definitely wasnt worth the long wait. Weve been skipping this place ever since.

Service was terrible got waited on by several employees--none of which were friendly. Took forever to get our drinks. Food was average. Waitress got the bill all messed up at the end, so she asked the manager to help and he couldnt help. NEVER GOING BACK.

I went there for a wedding reception and loved the atmosphere and food. As I was leaving didnt know they had a live band. The room where the reception was taking place you couldnt here the loud music from the band. It was very nice and intimate.

Had the sampler platter for lunch just to get a taste of a few different things. Excellent! The wings were particularly good. The staff is friendly and takes care of the customers. Great place to get some food and watch the game.

A couple friends went here on Taco Tuesday and had a great time. Ask for Gina shes a babe and a lot of fun. She has a boyfriend and who cares! LOL . Very cool thank you

"Handmade taquitos" are the microwave ones. Tri tip is really burnt skirt steak. Chef needs to be fired. Way over priced for the quality of food.
