This place is a joke. I called the box office phone line and ordered tickets, leaving my credit card info on their answering machine, per their recorded, long winded and condescending instructions. "Check it out." I called to reserve the tickets on March 3rd for a show that was on March 11th. The message said that they would call back to confirm the ticket purchase. I waited over a week, calling and leaving five messages up to and including the actual day of the show. They have no direct phone line or email. Finally at 4:15pm, on the day of the show, they called me back and told me that I didnt have any tickets. I asked how this could be the case? They said the show was soled out and they were just now returning calls. Great way to do business. What a joke. Ill never even consider making plans to attend any event at largo EVER again. This was the SECOND time they did this to me. Pretty lame to make plans ten days in advance, dinner reservations in the area, and then have them tell you they didnt reserve your tickets. Do yourself a favor and avoid Largo at all costs. Disappointing experience to say the least. Thanks Largo, Ill be sure to spread the word.

The atmosphere is great. Its a theater setting rather than a nightclub or bar type atmosphere. There is no drink minimum nonsense and the tickets are only $30. We arrived a few minutes late and were seated by someone who worked there. We were in the back row both times we have been. But its small enough that the back row is fine and you can quickly get to your car before anyone else. There is a parking structure right next door. It is hit or miss with the comics. We went on Sarah Silvermans night and she was awful. Trying out new jokes from her notepad. The other comics werent much better, except for Marc Maron. He saved the night. John Mulaney was great and most of the comics were great as well. I wish you knew the line up before hand. But its only $30. And $8 for parking. You cant beat that to see the caliber of comics that come to the Largo stage!

I was at the venue for a stand-up on a sold out night (03/01/2016). Even though the place is small and run by a small group, it was well organized and coordinated. Has a very interesting/artistic vibe. Seats were assigned on a first come first serve basis. You can get your seating assignment and step outside if you want to grab a bit (if you have time). Parking: Available for a fee and you can also find street parking in the near by area. Just make sure to read the street parking signs. This was a weekday and I was able to park at weekday 2 hours till 8pm spot and paid only for an hour (from 7pm). Amenities: Small concession stand with cookies/coffee and they do allow your coffee inside. They also have a small bar (did not check it out) Public Restroom - yes. Cleanliness ****

I would have given the place no stars if I had the choice. A friend invited myself & another friend to this place to see a show. So we went. We arrived & were told the cover charge was $25. We paid & entered. Later that night when I got home, I happened to look the show up to find that the cover charge was $10. The guy at the door asked for more than TWICE the cover charge we were supposed to pay. We were completely taken advantage of. I will NEVER return to the Largo, regardless of whether this guy is still working there or not. The most I can recommend about this place is to give them bad business because thats all they really deserve. I hope the guy who overcharged us reads this & sees how much of an a#$hole he is. The show we saw was great but that doesnt excuse them.

Awesome theater! Ive been to the Largo for Thrilling Adventure Hour and the live Welcome to Night Vale events. Its a great space for these shows and fortunately Ive always had a great view of the players onstage. Fingers crossed I never have a giant sit in front of me. Ive only had good experiences with other audience members and the staff. All very friendly. Only suggestion/annoyance is that you need to keep beer and wine in the Little Room instead of being able to take it to the courtyard. Must be some sort of liquor license rule, not sure if they can change it but if they could my preshow experience could be improved a bit. Cant wait to go back for more Thrilling Adventure Hour!

The owner called me a "Fukcing idiot" for being 15 minutes late to a show. I was running late for a show (I work in the medical field and was stuck at work beyond my control). The staff said that my ticket could be held at the door. When I showed up, I was told that they had filled all of the seats. The staff tried to help, but the owner insisted that I not be let in, and called me a "fukcing idiot" despite the fact that I had been neither rude nor loud. Please, go to a show at a venue that respects its patrons.

This room has the best music and comedy shows in LA. Small enough to have good views even from the back row. You go when the seat assignments start at 6 PM - then explore the areas great restaurants. Have a drink at their bar or in the Roger Room, then settle into your seat for a great show. Regular variety shows include The Watkins Family, Jeff Garlin, Sarah Silverman, Jon Brion, Pete Holmes. And you may see some of the top comedy and music when Judd Apatow brings his friends. Lots of fun to be had.

I wouldnt jump at the opportunity to see another show here, but I wouldnt run away screaming either. Having read other reviews, it was pretty much what I expected. We got there pretty early because I wasnt clear on how seats were assigned (some made it seem like it was a first come-first serve) but I think its actually based on when you bought your tickets because when the guy checked off our names, he sorted through the pile of paper slips instead of giving us the next one in the pile.

First time at Largo. Saw an episode of How Did This Get Made record, one of my favorite podcasts. The theater is very cozy, comfortable seats and not too big. This means there isnt a bad seat in the house. There is a bar separate from the theatre for drinks plus a kiosk selling water coffee and snacks in the lobby. Definitely want to come back to see another podcast recording or a comedy show. If you are into the alt comedy or podcast scene Largo is the place to go.

I musst say this organization is so unprofessional. Im not sure why, but there is no direct contact with anyone and I guess, because of this, nothing gets done. We tried to reserve tickets by phone as they suggest, we left a credit card number, no one called us back, we were there by 7pm when they said doors open and they told us "sorry" sold out, even though we had thought we pre-purchased by phone. Just very un-organized.

Great place to see a show once the show starts. I saw Tig and friends and was blown away by the line up. The ticketing process where you dont get an assigned seat, but have to show up 2 hours before the show is ridiculous. And only having a teeny-tiny bar with a bunch of wasted open space (where you cant take a drink) doesnt make it a great place to hang out pre-show.
