My family and I stayed at the schoolhouse campground 6/18-6/20. We had reservations through the 21st but after two nights we had to leave. Upon arrival the first day the camp host told us to be mindful of our trash because they had seen a "little bear". I was there with my husband and 2 children as well as my best friend, her husband and their son. The first night 6/18 we encountered a large brown bear rooting through our site at around 12:30am. We were able to scare him off easily. The following night 6/19 at around the same time We were again visited by the bears. This time it was the little bear the host had mentioned. Cute little baby cub. The momma was also there. They were close. So close in fact that at one point I heard her breathing right next to me. These bears didnt scare near as easy as the one the night before, and continued to walk through our camp and around our tent for over an hour. We left at dawn the next day. It was an experience I will never forget and extremely scary. The area is beautiful but I Do Not recommend tent camping unless you want to chill with Yogi and his family. We were in site 24.

Rented a high performance pontoon boat, very used condition with many tears in the upholstery, good service upon arrival, best lake water around, would give 4 stars if they paid a kid to transport from and to car especially end of day when 100+ temp. They even have the cart sitting idle just need a driver....step up the service please!

Beautiful. Some of the best Bass fishing around and if youre a good enough fisherman then maybe you can coax a Kokanee Salmon on your line near the dam.
