Ive been here twice now. The first time was to see the last Harry Potter, and more recently for the Hunger Games. The tickets are about $30 each, which is a lot for a movie, some popcorn, and really comfy seats, but the experience is really about starting with dinner in the lounge beforehand. I recommend getting there an hour or more in advance to get a table down there, have some drinks, and order some food. In particular: The classic slider trio - Tasty and relatively filling for a reasonable price. Nice quality. Crispy bacon. The truffle fries - Really tasty with garlic, parmesan, and truffle oil. Buffalo chicken egg rolls - A little spicy and well prepared. Excellently paired with ranch dressing. Flatbread pizzas - I forgot which we had, but I think it had a pesto sauce. Pretty solid. The peanut butter chocolate marshmallow pizza dessert - Gooey, warm, sticky, sweet, rich, decadent...awesome. The fact that you can have stuff brought to you while you are watching the movie and reclining in a super comfy chair is a great added bonus. The only downside to all of this is definitely the price. Oh well. Its a fun treat. Summary: Good food. Expensive but mostly worth it. A fun experience. Theaters are nice. Comfy seats. Great service. Park on Fair Oaks for the best deal with validation. A great treat out.

This is one of our favorite places to go for a movie, meal and drinks. They do a pretty go job here on most things. Service is friendly but can be understandably slow at the beginning just before the movie starts. In fact, it can take 15 minutes or more to get first service. So my "tip" is to go to the bar when you first arrive, get your drink there, and then bring it with you into the movie theater. That way, by the time they take your drink order in the theater and the drink arrives, its 30 minutes later and you are ready for your second drink! This is a must. The food is good, some items excellent, but they havent meaningfully changed their menu for a long time. And some they changes for the worse - I used to love the chicken satay as it came with a wonderful creamy dipping sauce, which they replaced with a watery, pungent, rather foul Im guessing fish sauce. It really was a significant downgrade. The wine list by the glass is exceptional. Many of the glasses are wines that no one else will sell for anything less than the bottle, like Provenance Cab; Justin Cab; several other that Ive had there that I was so surprised to see available by the glass. And last, the move experience - just perfect. So comfortable. The only risk is falling asleep you are so comfortable!

As a movie lover and movie goer, this place is the ultimate experience in watching movies!! Sure, tickets are about $29 per person, but they offer you free popcorn and assigned seating. No more fighting with other people over saving seats for others. Did I mention that the seats are premium leather seats that recline? Heck, they even give you a nice blanket and pillow for you to snuggle in!! The customer service is top notch and they have an extensive food and drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) menu. There are only a small amount of seats per screen, and there is enough distance between each couple that you feel you are alone by yourselves in the theater. There is also a small button that you can push to signal for a waiter/waitress to come over. Overall, this is the ULTIMATE movie experience for any movie lover. Since it is kind of expensive, Id recommend watching only good movies here (e.g. Captain America Winter Soldier) to get the most out of your movie experience. Pro-tip: their online movie listings get updated every other Tuesday, so make sure to log into the website to book your seats early for popular movies! good seats do run out, but even the very front row isnt that bad.

Went to GCC last night in Pasadena. We were greeted and waited on downstairs in their cocktail lounge and had exceptional service all around. Even the cocktails, very dry martinis, were well prepared. "Shana," waited on us and was very helpful recommending calamari, which when she said "people say it is the best," I doubted. However, she was right. It was excellent! Then during the movie, the chicken picatta sandwich and slider burgers were excellent. A couple recommendations: it would benefit folks visiting from other areas to know exactly how to get into the validated garage. You can enter this from Fair Oaks, by turning into what looks like an alley, on the east side of Fair Oaks by Akbar Indian Cuisine. Then you walk west over Fair Oaks about 100 yards to the second alley. Also, I booked what online showed to be the last available seats, but in the meantime, some people had cancelled, so ask ahead of time if you can change seat assignments. Although we were in the back row, the movie was still fun. In all, it is not an inexpensive evening, but it was definitely fun and the food was really quite good as was the service.

This is hands down the best movie theatre experience in the Los Angeles area. It's one of those places you must try before you kick the bucket. It's basically double the price of a regular movie theatre, but well worth the money. You get to watch a movie in a first class fully automated leather seat that reclines all the way back with a small table in between you and your date. That table has a magic button you press and walah, a server will take your order and bring it to you while you watch the movie. It's not popcorn and stale nachos either. Just look at their menu. Like i said it is a little pricey, but if you want to Wow your date it's well beyond worth it. They also have a special on the week of your birthday which I believe is either 1/2 off your ticket or a free ticket, plus i believe one of the days being Tuesday or Thursday the food Is half off so it will be much more affordable. I would call them up and ask for their specials. TRUST ME! GO check it out!
There are so many other great things I could point out, but it would take forever. GO GO GO and take me with you.

I have been coming to this theatre for about 3 years now. It is pricy but its worth it. I think of it as a special night out. I love coming here to watch star wars or other movies that I know I would prefer to watch with a smaller (and usually quieter) audience. The seats are plush and comfortable (almost too comfortable because I have fallen asleep). Tickets come with the movie, blanket, pillow, and popcorn. The servers bring out food and drinks really quickly. Ive never had a problem getting my order too late into the movie. The food is a little pricy but pretty good. My favorites are the fries and the coconut shrimp. Tuesday is members day with food and drink specials. The only con is on their website, they dont let you combine payment methods. For example if I buy 2 tickets for $60 and I have a $50 gift card, I cant use the gift card and pay $10 with my card. I also cant combine gift cards. The only thing you can do is pay with your card and before your movie time, you ask them to use your gift card and refund the amount to your original credit card.
