The Old State House is a wonderful (and free) attraction downtown. If youre looking for an exciting museum for the kids, head down the road to the Museum of Discovery. However, for history lovers this is a great museum. The exhibits are average, the real reason to come is for the building itself, it has a nice view of the Arkansas River and a stunning and classically Southern facade.

Stopped by here while making a stop in Little Rock for the night on the way home from a road trip. We stayed at the Double Tree next door (Would NOT recommend that hotel) The Old State House was super cute, its very well kept. Its a nice stroll to take and there are some great photo ops. I would recommend stopping here if you are already in downtown Little Rock.

Spent about 90 minutes in the museum. Very nicely done, exhibits werent all particularly interesting, but enjoyed many of the historical and political features, along with the process to save the structure. My only complaint--museum store needs to be open on Sundays. Sad...missed opportunity for revenue.

Well my friend and I were there for a business meeting, we discovered the beauty and intrigue of this museum. While the staff is very helpful, parking is very challenging as the area is currently under construction for the Bridge Project. Expect to walk the distance from parking.

I was more impressed with the architecture of the building itself than the museum displays, but Im not going to downgrade my rating because Im just not really into museum displays in general. The building itself is beautiful and appears to be taken well care of.

Nice history and museum. Arkansas old Capitol building which played a part in the Civil War in AR. Nice exhibits but in my opinion some of them need an update. Interesting place to visit though. Parking is a little hard to come by.

Permanent and changing exhibits are well displayed and always interesting. Nice gift shop. Fully accessible. Located adjacent to the River Walk/bike trail and on the trolley line.

It was boring. The gift shop was boring. The building was dark. The downtown location was excellent. The outside scenery and decor was the only impressive thing.

Many interesting pieces. I just wish they didnt start closing so early. Usually is a place closes at 5, they shouldnt start locking doors at 4:30.
