De icee machine was broken when I went that was disappointing & de selection of soda was lacking from my wants anyways. I didnt like de cloth seating I doubt they spray for bugs or vacuum de chairs. I dont think most worry about that when they go to de show but de crowd of kids on summer field trips blocking me off from getting to de concession stand without being late for de movie triggered de thought to cross my mind. Great sound, great picture, usual flip chairs w/shared arm rests & cup holder, spacious parking lot, usually clean at least enough I think & for de usual expensive concession prices you pay for food at any theatre, they have decent deals, I think I may have noticed an arcade, nice location near other places to eat & shop. I think shows are specially discount priced on Tuesdays so thats a nice DAY time to go. Not sure of de neighborhood.

Would have given this a higher rating, but some of the staff needs to work on their courtesy skills. My family went to the last showing of the night. When we came out of the showing, my mother went to use the bathroom before we left. The rest of us sat down in the lobby to wait for her. A few seconds later one worker came out of the office to snap at us if we were waiting for a ride or something that we were still lingering. I explained we were waiting for my mom to come out of the restroom, so he huffed and walked away. When she came out, we left the building and started walking to our car. Before we had even made it half way to our parking space, they killed the lights to the parking lot making it difficult for us to walk to the car, especially my mom who walks with canes. Bit of a downer to an otherwise enjoyable night.

They really need to have their parking lot and driveways repaved, as it is in bad shape and hard on a vehicles suspension. The last time I took my family, we got the large combo with butter and it was rancid. Our family along with someone else in the same movie informed the manager, who was quick to resolve the issue. Their website also needs to be more informative. Ive referred to it often for movie times, but it leaves folks in the dark on ticket prices, specials (matinee times/prices). A call to the theater usually goes unanswered. Ticket prices, as others have mentioned in their reviews, are ridiculous.

Not the cleanest or newest. Some of the theaters have paper thin walls which can distract from a tense moment hearing the explosions from next theater over. Go while the movie is still in one of the good rooms. Now the real gem is the popcorn. Cheaper and waaaaaaayyy better than the salty cardboard popped fresh weekly at nameless other locations in town. The process of getting a ticket and refreshments is way quicker too. Also they pull in cool indys from time to time that the competition overlooks. Always my first choice when going for a new release.

My family really enjoys going to Carmike, especially on Tuesday night. Thats the night the theater runs their specials: a $5/ticket all day, $4 large drink, and $4 large popcorn. Their popcorn is always fresh, and the staff is friendly enough. The few times weve had issues with the projectors, or the 3d not lining up correctly, the management has always promptly corrected the issues - once, after the 3d image wasnt lining up correctly, the managers had the film restarted for the audience.

$70 dollars for 4 people, my husband, myself, and our two boys 8 and 5....popcorn and 4 small drinks....only place showing boxtrolls at the time we needed, we thought about just getting our money back and leaving after we seen the total...this is uncalled for to see a movie, wont be going back to that place!! no wonder there was only a half dozen cars in parking lot, probably mostly employees, us 4 was the only people in the boxtrolls movie!! horrible place, horrible price..dont go!!!

The experience was least to say the worst I have ever had at any movie theater the manager acted a little bit too big for his age put his hand on one of my friends without permission which was almost assault. We were told to go back to the entrance in very rude manner, though we understood there was a miscommunication with the ticket lady. We felt belittled. Were going to Malco from here on out.

I want to love this place, because I root for the underdog. But its obvious the owners pocket every penny, and dont invest back into the theater. Its run down, it smells, the sings in some of the theaters go in and out, and the price is just as high as the newer theater in town. The staff are very nice and helpful. They make it worth returning.

Fantastic service! Prices are great. They also have specials on certain nights which is GREAT! I dont understand the other reviews that complained about anything. If you dont want to go to the theater, rent a redbox , go home and shut it! It was and continues to be a great experience.

The prices are good but dont worry about showing up right at the scheduled time. There are enough ads before the movies to allow for tardiness. The theater is a little old but comfortable enough. The recent addition of a single self serve soda machine is nice but bottlenecks the line.

I went to go see a movie there yesterday and I ordered a large cup of water. They charged me 6.40. I told them to cancel that order and instead I would like a large empty cup. They told me that my empty cup would also be 6.40. Next time, I will stay home and watch HBO.

I have been going to this theater for about 25 years, when it was still the Carmike. Over all it is a good theater, I find the seats more comfortable than the Malco. My only complaint is they dont open until 3pm now. Im one of those people that prefers a noon matinee.

The seats are a little old, but still comfortable. The prices are better than the malco cinema 16 in town. They recently made drinks and butter self-serve and that creates more issues than conveniences with the lines for it all over the lobby right before show times.

I go to this theatre a lot. The new drink machine (singular) is ridiculous. The line to get a drink takes forever! Meanwhile there are 3 or 4 people standing around behind the counter where they used to have multiple drink stations.

Plenty of theaters and the staff is nice. I mainly buy vouchers on Dealflicks to watch movies there. My experience is good so far. One time they couldnt scan my voucher bar codes but they allowed me to redeem them anyway.

There is all ways space, people are nice. Perfect place for a date. My wife and I all ways get a coke a big thing of popcorn and a few choice candys. This place is a great value so much cheaper than the cinema back home.

The AMC Classic in Fort Smith is a really good theater. It may not be as fancy as the other theaters in town, but they offer deals, the seats are comfortable in my opinion, and the staff gets things done.

I love this place because its been in Fort Smith forever, however I wish they would revamp it with an update. It needs a complete remodel or makeover and updated sound system. But overall I like it.
