Came to see Penguins of Madagascar here last night and it was my first time to this theater and a Harkins brand location as I live in Austin but am visiting family in town. I was pleasantly surprised. The theater facade looks like it is fairly new and other than the weird layout of the parking lot and parking entrance access, no real gripes to be had about this place. There was a huge line, but all the automated ticket kiosks were open, so I went to see if they were working and they were, so I didnt understand why the line at the window when I bought my tickets in under 2mins with a zero wait time. The theater lobby is very clean as was the concession stand and as far as theater food pricing goes, on the more reasonable end. I got a "kid combo" (popcorn, small drink and fruit snack) for $4.75. The theater itself was very clean as well and the seats didnt look worn. There was no one in the theater when we walked in 15mins before the movie started (it started filling in once the previews began) and we got primo seats (right in front of the bars) and the seats rock back, so they were comfortable. Not a bad intro to seeing a movie in the Marana area.

I am giving this rating strictly because of the experience we had tonight ! Consider putting in a childcare facility at this location. Take out the games and put it there if you are short on space! We went to see Atomic Blonde tonight and had to listen to a disruptive toddler the entire movie. An employee came in once about 5 mins after the movie started and never came back. I should not have to get up and miss part of the movie to tell you that selfish, inconsiderate parents brought their under 2 year old child to a violent R rated movie and did nothing to quiet her or stop her from banging on the railing, screaming, crying and talking !! Consider restricting young children from attending R rated films at least monitor the theater more than once at the beginning of the movie . I go to this theater a lot but the past 2 visits I have experienced rude moviegoers that ruin it for everybody! Do something about it please!

Harkins has done a wonderful job the last two years after it bought this property once Tower Theater went bankrupt. They did a great job remodeling it and added a lot of nice features to the theater. Its always very clean and the staff is really nice. Its in a safe area and there are always a lot of families there. The only problems this theater has are the candy is pretty high priced, it can be way to cold (I have seen families with blankets), and its very odd the employees walk in during movies look at the screen then walk to the other side (In front of everybody) and look at the other side. Maybe they are checking focus but ts irritating they have to walk from side to side in front of everyone. I am really glad Harkins bought this theater and rehabbed in side and out because it would have been a big loss for Marana not to have a theater.

Great theater chain, and this specific location is great. Friendly and accommodating staff. Large selection of snacks and drinks (including Dr. Pepper). Their loyalty program is very good. If you buy the t-shirt it gets you a free medium popcorn whenever you bring it with you with the option to upgrade to a large for a few bucks. They also have loyalty cups (same size as a large drink) which gets you $ 1.50 refills. Both items are valid for the current year of the initial purchase . Tickets also run cheaper than the other major chains. The theater seats are the most comfortable around and the theater upkeep is high. They do offer 3D movies, and have a wide range of special events like summer movies for kids and a week night show of old movies. Overall great place to go and my #1 choice.

Love this place. Good discounts with their T-shirt and collectable cup program. We get our popcorn unsalted due to high blood pressure and they will bend over backwards to accommodate this by popping new popcorn that we pick up in a few minutes or they will sometimes delivering it to us in the theater if the movie has started. Theaters are clean and are all digital so you get a clear movie. Seating is very comfortable and in excellent shape. You cannot go wrong with this theater.

Their "buy a shirt and drink cup" promotion is a fantastic bargain for those that attend movies on a fairly regular basis. Their assisted listening system works well and if for some reason it doesnt, they immediately comp you a new movie - very impressive. Seats are very comfortable, staff is always friendly and attentive. They keep the place exceptionally clean and there never seems to be a problem with unruly and loud people.

have to arrive extremely early because it there is anybody in front of you at the concession counter it might be a 15 minute wait. Now imagine 3 people ahead of you. They dont understand how to upsell efficiently. Need better training regarding throughput, quality, and selling. this was 2nd time pretzel was hard and burnt-like

Pretty good theatre, they have a variety of different snacks, theyre usually pretty clean and their staff is always up eats and nice. Very conveniently located, also, right off of I10 and Cortaro. There are cheaper and (more expensive) more comfortable choices in Tucson but this is easily the one I visit the most.

Went to go watch "The Purge 2" at 11PM and I dont understand how kids under 12 were in there in packs! They were extremely loud and kept kicking our seats. They really need to check age at this place! Other than that Harkins is still my favorite place to go watch movie. Huge screens and I love their Loyalty CUP!

This is our favorite theatre in town. Its close to our home and they have outstanding loyalty products. $5 for a cup with $1 refills and $20 popcorn shirt that gets you free popcorn all year. The snackbar lines can be very slow at times, but the staff hustles. The theatres are nice, seats are comfortable.

I love Harkins in general because of the Loyalty cups and popcorn, but this location is particularly fantastic. The prices are downright unbeatable and the theaters are always clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Ive never encountered a loud child or disruptive patrons here.

Fav movie theater in town. Nice and clean, well managed, and friendly staff. Loyalty cups are only $1.50 to refill good variety at the concession stand. Comfy rocker chairs with arms that raise up. During the summer we probably go here at least once a week.

Clean, Neighborhood feel theatre. Prices are high, but nothing more high then any other theater. Kids summer movies program is perfect, did it last year, doing it this year and will until my child stops wanting to go. I recommend.

Beat theater around. Stop going to the ones at or near the malls. Ther are full of kids screaming and talking through the movies. This place is quiet and respectuful. I have never had a distraction here whe watching a movie.

Just watched a movie at Harkins Theaters. My goodness, this place rocks! The value for money is unbeatable! Everyone was polite and courteous, the screen was large and clear and the seats very comfortable. Highly recommended!
