We had a wedding at this Hotel and had about 20 rooms reserved for our Guests (more of less), The wedding was great, the servers and banquet managers and staff did a great Job, HOWEVER - the Hotel Side was very disappointing and embarrassing for us to have our quests stay there.. I personally had a a terrible experience in our room, The shower was BAD, clogged plumbing, showing in 2 inches of standing water, and the A/C was the worse I have experienced, Very loud and temperature of the room was either hot when a/c was off, or cold and loud when on.. Just horrible. The worse thing was that I was hoping I was the only one experiencing this, But I was wrong.. In the morning I was very embarrassed to hear most of our guests mention the same problems... We mentioned these issues to the managers, and they said will take it to upper management... Later they email me saying that the upper management will be making it right by offering us something.. But its been over a month, and No work from them... That is not a good way to treat a customer who spent thousands of dollars on a weekend there.. Overall: People are Great, good service as people, managers that we see were good and helpful, but the upper management did nothing to help not did they offer anything to make up for the bad experience.. I have other family weddings coming up in the next few months, although this is a great central location, but I will not be taking a chance again...

Due to the death of my husbands younger brother he came to Tempe Az and has been here since 9/18/2015 he is currently staying at your Double Tree 2100 S Priest Drive Les the night auditor at the Double Tree took the time and explained to the benefits and features of the Honors program so we join he is retired and I am going to next year and we plan on traveling a lot we are so impressed we am planing my brothers Life Celebration at this Double Tree. The staff at this Hilton has treated my husband extremely well this Double tree is very close to the brothers house which is being renovated my husband has been very alone for over 3 weeks the people at this property has become family I do not think my husband could have made it without them. We are so grateful for the personal support and comfort. We will be flying back and forth during probate Due to the circumstances he was upgraded to a fantastic rewards room .Regardless we will always stay at a Hilton propertys in our travels thank you for treating us so well.

I travel a lot, and I have stayed here about a dozen nights in 2015. I am surprised how run down this place is for a Hilton hotel. Fridge didnt work, ice machines are rusting hunks of junk (one working in the entire hotel) and the front desk doesnt know the others are out of service. Dont eat in the bar, the service is horrible. Order a double, because you will never see the bartender again after the first one. Make sure you have everything you want when they bring the meal, because you will never see the waitperson again. Food is bland and few choices. Air conditioner roars. Just a nice old hotel that the management just doesnt care about any more. Wifi is good! But I am Hilton Silver, so I think I get faster wifi than average. If it were not for the fact that I get a deal through the company I am working with in Tempe, and it is walking distance, I would stay somewhere else.

I found the property to be laid out well, the pool was in use all the time and the staff was efficient and friendly. I had a series of business meetings there, and breakfast and lunch was catered by them. The breakfast has been better than the lunch, though the lunch dessert was delicious. The conference rooms are a tad thin-walled and our rambunctious group was asked to quiet down by whatever ninnies were next to us. Maybe theyre just not used to people having fun on the job... The rooms Ive had were comfortable and clean, though modest. The Jacuzzi was nice and the fitness room was clean. The personal care products were of above average quality and I enjoyed my time there. AZ Mills is right down the road and it was close to the college area of Tempe and it is half a mile off I-10.

Shockingly poor accommodations and rude staff. I log over 75,000 miles per year in the air and have never felt the need to post a review. To start, the shuttle driver was great... All down hill from there. Shower was luke warm at best. Food was expensive and poor quality. Fresh fruit platter looked like it had sat in the fridge for days, huevos rancheros was the worst I've ever seen. Noisy rooms (thinnest walls) as well. Then, checking out I noticed a charge from the bar that was not from me. While the culprit did use my room number the signature was not mine. The bar manager was called and he treated me rudely a though I were lying. I would not try to skip out on an eight dollar tab for two bud lights. Stay anywhere else. This place is a horror show.

I really enjoyed my stay there up until I got a call from the front desk telling me that I owe them $81 because one of their employees didnt charge my account correctly, I paid and went back to my room only to get another cal around 930pm telling me I had an outstanding balance of $101 and that I needed to pay that in order to stay another night or i needed to leave. The woman I spoke to was very rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told she was a manager. My question is what kind of hotel calls their guest at 9pm as we are getting ready for bed telling them to pay an amount that their employee didnt run through like they are suppose to or to leave. I will not be back to this hotel. Night manager very rude and unprofessional

Amazing staff! So friendly. And very professional. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the grounds were very well maintained. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody seeking room. The pool was great as well. The only complaint I have is that the vending machines charged a fee to my credit card each time I used it. And there were absolutely no signs or stickers stating that there would be a service fee. I think it was 2 or 3 dollars for every transaction! Kind of upsetting as I unknowingly did this at least 4 or 5 times. Any who I cant really get hung up on that, long story short if your looking for a NICE hotel, with comfortable beds, and clean rooms, look no further! Also, you HAVE to get a cookie at check in! They are fantastic!

Great place. Unprofessional management staff. Doubletree corporate needs to get involved. Would be happy to say more, but will not out of respect for the future guests of the hotel in the hopes that they will not have to interact with any of the management of the hotel during their stay and as a result of not spending one minute talking to management they will have a great stay in the lovely pool and the outdoor feel to the hotel. You will notice the copied and pasted reply to many reviews that have been left recently. It shows the GM does not actually care about his guests nor valid concerns brought up by everyone involved. I truly hope corporate sees the reviews. Thank you.
