Beer is good, but the atmosphere is terrible. When its crowded, its impossible to find anywhere to relax with your friends unless you enjoy standing in a crowd amongst other crowds and shouting to be heard. And as for when its not crowded. Well. The people who are associated with the place are, for lack of a better word, two-faced. The bartenders will be welcoming and polite to everyone who comes in the door, but as soon as they have a minute of down time, they spend their shift hanging out with their friends who are sitting at the bar as patrons. All in all, the people associated with Druid City are loud, obnoxious, and rude to anyone who isnt in their clique.

Whether youre a craft beer connoisseur or someone looking to experience something new, Druid City is THE original and best in Tuscaloosa brewing. Bo (owner) and Company are the A-Team of charisma and beer, always making everyone feel right at home. The atmosphere is unique and alive; they have vinyl records available to play, the famous chalk art (which always combines art/music with SEC Sports), and video and board games. Beer to Try: the North Porter is their crown jewel; its a malty goodness that is like drinking your grandmas homemade chocolate cake, with a sweet taste and smell of vanilla. But dont underestimate it: packs a punch with its 9.1% ABV!

Beer is ok. Everything including the porters and Black and Tan are too hoppy, but if it was just the beer, would have been 4 stars. Small place that apparently allows dogs I guess. Placed smelled like stank dog, makes it hard to enjoy a beer. At least two different dogs in a place that can hold maybe 20 people...

Love this brew spot. Small. Kind of dark (in a good way). Great chalk art. Super vinyl collection. Tasty beers. Splendid personnel. A must stop anytime in Tuscaloosa. Job well done.

Whats not to love? Bo runs the place! Would upgrade to a six+ if they added Cider to the menu.
