Great wine, great people & great times! The views of Grandfather Mountain are perfect and the seating area outside the tasting room is a beautiful setting to enjoy some wine & cheese with friends or family. A group of 8 of us just finished the wine tasting and the staff was extremely knowledgable and helpful. All of the wines on todays tasting menu were great wines and each had a distinctive taste. We ended up buying several bottles after enjoying many of the different blends. A must visit while in the area!

Beautiful setting, charming setup with lots of outdoor seating around the tasting room and along the river. Wine was okay, was told that only 20% of grapes are grown locally. Rest could be from NC or California. Went in December and had limited selection, were told more wines were available in summertime but sold out. Available wines were not our favorites. Dogs allowed on grounds and in tasting room. Server was very friendly.

Our first time left a lasting impression, and the weather was even overcast. So many idyllic areas to relax and enjoy your wine, and the selection itself is very well balanced. They even started selling ciders as part of a joint partnership with ASUs fermentation group. Make sure to say hello to the friendly border collie roaming the property.

This used to be a local jewel, but now the casual atmosphere is bringing more and more people through each weekend. Despite this, it still has one of the best setups for afternoon chilling on gorgeous days. Come with friends and indulge on $20 bottles of awesome local wine. Outside food and friendly dogs are allowed.

We were torn between visiting here and the Banner Elk winery. We are so glad we chose this place. Its a little hard to see from the road but its an absolutely gorgeous scene. The wine is amazing and the staff is so friendly. You have to stop in and say hello to our furry friend Willa. Absolute gem of out trip.

I love this winery. Great atmosphere, beautiful winery from the inside to the outside seating. The stream with seating along it. Heaters over the outside porch seating for winter enjoyment. Also a covered patio. Grape vines planted up the side of the mountain.

Sally is the family matriarch and quite a lovely lady both in spirit and good looks! The hospitality here is second to none, the ambiance, the setting and all the buildings combine to make this a place in the high country that you shouldnt miss!
