I didnt know what to expect when I went to Mad County Winery for the first time, but I had a blast! The couple who own the store are a hoot and make everyone feel welcome. Be prepared to hear funny stories and fruit wine-making facts while enjoying the free tasting of multiple fruit wines. If you fall in love like I did, you have the option to buy a Jar (Yes, a jar.) for $11 each. If youre interested in trying something new, try out Mad County Winery. Im glad I did.

Love love love this place. Ive taken any one that I know likes wine. It is one of those places you shouldnt pass up visiting. Get the peach wine or Apple with ice cream. I havent bought anything from here and regretted it. I feel like the theme song of cheers should play when you enter. They are definitely like extended family. I cant wait to see what else the Willy wonka of wine will whip up next.

I tried both the peach and watermelon at 23% alcohol and, honestly, they taste more like someone mixed up everclear, fruit and stevia and let it sit out in the sun. I hope its a couple of bad batches, because if its not they wont be in business long.

This place is incredible! Cotton and Melinda are so sweet and make delicious drinks! The place has a great atmosphere, unlike any other wine tasting experience. This is a must if youre in Huntsville!
