Great little Brew supply shop on the southside. If your ordering supplies online I would go to the bigger sites. It is a decent site and is getting better but the in store purchasing is the way to go. They have great selections of grains, yeast, extracts, kettles, siphons, kits, everything you need to get started. Also have great classes to make beer and wine. Very knowledgeable and a great local place for brewing supplies. Constantly getting better....check em out.

Great place to shop for your small brewing needs. The staff is very knowledgeable!!! However they are not updated to the current technologies, so they might be a little slow on check out and online orders. Also since they are such a small shop they do not have a huge variety of merchandise. However, everything I know about brewing came from the staff of this shop. Good place for your brewing needs above all

All I am going to say is that my husband who is Italian and I loved this class. Informational. The teacher and owner was super friendly, funny, and helpful. And this class thought us a lot and we are confident that our wine will be fabulous. You would be a fool not to take this class. Additionally, there will be a new location, which sounds phenomenal. So check this out!

Its a lot of fun to go with a friend --or a bunch of friends-- and take a class to make beer or wine. You just dont sit and listen... you actually make a whole case to take home (a few weeks later -- after its ready to bottle). You get to tweek it too before bottling so its just the way you like it. A couple was even making wine for their upcoming wedding toast ...cool!

If youre on the southside, or in the south suburbs, you should make your way down here. Everyone in the joint is very knowledgable and you dont feel like they are pushing you out the door. Laid back atmosphere. Coz has an unlimited wealth of knowledge about beer and wine brewing. Its worth it to listen to him for an hour or so if just starting out. Enjoy! RDWHAHB.

Phil is the BEST! For $5 you get a tasting of some truly excellent meads (12, I think?) all made with local honey from the bees in the forest preserve. The mead is amazing and Phil is so kind, and will tell you all about beer, mead, and how his family has made mead for three generations. Such a wonderful place!

Imagine chilled out people who know how to make quality beer. Thats exactly what you get a bev art. Theyre as friendly and informative as they are knowledgable, and totally into "teaching you to fish.". A+
