My husband and his dad went around 6pm today, May 21st, to play some pool. They told him that they had to pay $25 dollars for 1hr to rent the "VIP" area, so they paid it. After maybe 10 minutes a couple of females start getting to the "VIP" area with ballons and party stuff and they ask my husband if they worked there, so my husband said no and continued playing pool with his dad. A couple of minutes later the female manager comes over to tell my husband and his dad that they had to leave because the other people rented that area. My husband tells the manager that they had just paid to rent the area so they can play pool and the RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL manager tells my husband that they still needed to leave now, and then she walked away. So the employee who rented the area to my husband told them to finish the game and then he will give them their money back because they were there just a few minutes. So my husband and dad continue playing and like one minute after the same employee comes over and starts to remove the balls from the table while they were still playing. So the employee said that the manager told him to let them now that they had to leave now. The employee did apologize for the confusion and lack of communication they had about that area that they double booked. The RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL manager NEVER apologized or even tried to do anything for my husband and his dad. She never offer them to come back another time like any other professional manager would do. It was not my husbands fault the lack of communication she has with her employees because it was OBVIOUS that the employees didnt even know that the are was already rented for the night. The manager needs some serious training in customer service or she needs to get a new job. We are NEVER EVER going back to that place.

I cannot stress how TERRIBLE service was. My family and I were given a "clicker" due to packed lanes. To wait for the clicker to go off, we ate in their restaurant which was equally HORRIFIC. There was only one waiter serving a mass. It took them 25 minutes to take our orders. The food was cold and disgusting, but we still gave them a tip. After eating, our clicker still hadnt gone off but the lanes were visibly clear. We even noticed the employee allowing people who had just walked in to pay for a lane, though we had been waiting for over an hour. We confronted the employee calmly and they assured they were about to call over everyone with the clicker. However, they recommended trying out the arcade until then. Still calm, we purchased an arcade card with over $40 on it since we planned to bowl and play arcade games. However, 5 minutes in, our clicker goes off. As soon as we turn in our clicker and are about to pay for a bowling game, the employee tells us theyre about to close. We endured an almost two hour wait with bad food and service to be told that. Also, we couldnt get a refund on our arcade card. Disrespectful!

We had an amazing time here. The food was great, bowling was fun, the arcade was fun, and the laser tag was nothing short of AMAZING! I was visiting Anniston for business and a few of my coworkers wanted to go out and have a little fun. We considered taking a trip to Atlanta for Dave and Busters but opted for this place as it was closer and we wouldnt loose an hour of time. We were not disappointed and honestly I would choose this place over any of the 5 Dave and Busters Ive visited. The service was great and the prices are much more reasonable. The arcade is not a large as D&Bs, but nonetheless it is just as fun. We got an hour of bowling, a game of laser tag, $5 to spend in the arcade, and shoes for less that $25 per person. Talk about economical?! We are so happy we came and will most likely return soon.

Great bowling lanes for the occasional bowler who wants to have family fun with house balls. Best time to open bowl for advanced bowlers is early in the day when discount specials are going on, or immediately after league play as the lane conditions will still be fair. Otherwise join a league if you dont wanna bowl on crappy lanes and pay expensive bowling fees. I buy a lot of equipment from the pro shop and get great service in there but service everywhere else in the building is horrible as workers will walk right by you if they dont know you personally and I almost never get my food order in a reasonable time as if they forget Im there. The place is nice but management needs to step their customer service game up before they lose quality customers.

The place is newly remodeled so it is clean. However the staff is impolite and inconsiderate at best. I went to the snack bar to order something and was told before I placed and order it would be 45 min. The only things I wanted were drinks but I didnt have a opportunity to tell the lady this. Then after being told it would be an hour wait for a lane we waited an hour and checked our status , we were told it would be at least another 30 min. The attendant told us they have no way to calculate how long the wait is....... Ok thats fine but dont give us some arbitrary number to begin with.

It you ever want to feel like you are in a 50 cent video, go there on a Friday or Saturday night. We were there on 1/30/11 bowling with kids. All lanes were occupied, but there were at least 150 (teens to young adults) loitering around, and from what they were wearing it was highly unlikely they were there to bowl. Before the night was over a fight broke out and the Trussville Police had to be called in. Its a shame that you cant take your kids anywhere without this sort of trash showing up and ruining your evening. Avoid this place at all cost.

My second time at spare time. My grandchildren love the place, however, they were not aware of the customer service issue until it was time to leave. My grandson lost his phone, someone turned it in, customer service said it was not there without looking. Customer service was a guy without a name tag. We found the person that turned it in. They found the phone behind the desk. If that person is not there we will come back again. There were about 5 other issues with this employee that I am not sharing.

The place is great with the remodeling done. It offers almost everything for kids and adults to have a fun time. Service-wise they could use some work. Its very inconsistent and really depends on who is there. Sometimes the workers are great and have good professionalism with a friendly demeanor. Other times they are aloof and provide sub par service in a less than timely manner. My biggest advice, dont go when its busy unless you only want to play laser tag and in the arcade. Preferably Tuesdays.

Oh my.. Spent 140.00 on 2 lanes for 2 hours... Placed our foos order and out of 7 orders we got 1 order of ice cold fries and was told they would remake them.. You guessed it.. Never got them. We had to chase down the server several times but still never got our orders. After our 2 hours of bowling was finished, we went to cancel the orders and was told that some was never put in. You pay to much to bowl to be starved and neglected.. Step it up Spare time... Vestavia or Brunswick is still available..
