DO NOT BRING CHILDREN HERE!!! We have been to White Sands Bowling Center twice with the child we sponsor in the Big Brother/Big Sister program and both times they refused to put bumpers on the lanes for us. It was the childs first (and second) time bowling and clearly he was struggling. When we requested bumpers we were told "the management has strict rules against bumpers". When we asked to speak to the manager about said rules we were told he was unavailable. Ridiculous. I suppose they thought it better to let the child have a score of zero the first time he ever bowled which is exactly what happened. We gave them another chance last weekend and had the same result. I have never had this happen before and will not have it happen a third time. With or without the child, we will NOT be back.

Have bowled here for the last year, about $100 a week. I dont have an issue following rules when it is applied to all equally. Today we went in with our sodas as always and as we got our kids shoes and balls the desk clerk made a point to be rude and tell us we couldnt have drinks. That is fine it is a rule. So drinks in bowling bag we sat down. While in the restroom this guy walked past three other lanes with outside drinks to tell my kid to put her drink in the trash or the car. Guess what we finished our one game loaded up and left. I will never spend another penny in White Sands Bowling. $5000 just walked out the door over a $1.50 soda.

Im not sure what the previous person that posted about not having bumpers was asking for, but everytime I go, there are many lanes with bumpers working. If you go on a Saturday morning, the place is filled with birthday parties and bumpers on many lanes. In additioin they are the bumpers that are able to rise and retract for each bowler on the lane. I have always been happy with the folks that work the counter and the lanes play great. The guys in the pro shop are happy to help and make your questions feel welcome.

As bowling center go, this ones not bad. Has a 70s feel, but thats mainly because the decor is from that era. Lanes were in great shape,and the place was very clean for a vintage establishment. Staff attitude was about average, and food center was bowling alley average, too. Machines worked great, lanes were well kept and oiled. We had a great time here and I wouldnt hesitate having an outing with friends or co-workers here. Prices were good, too.

We went today and used the kids bowl free program. Cant use bumpers for kids over 8 so my 10 year olds were bummed and didnt find it as fun. No ramps for the younger ones so it was VERY hands on for me helping my 4 year old. He lost interest after 4 frames. Love that shoe rentals were only $1 and the facility was clean (for a bowling alley). The other issues meant my kids only bowled one of their two free games and dont want to go back.

If everyone in your party is over the age of 8 but you still want to use the bumpers to be able to actually get points they will not let you. It is basically a no fun zone. Unless you have a child less than 8 years old I would suggest renting a child for the day so that you can be allowed to use the bumpers to have all the fun in the world

Had a blast at this place! Deanna at the snack bar was amazing, very polite, upbeat and professional! I was amazed that they have Pickle Pops, I havent had them since I was a kid. They went perfect with the great cheeseburger that Lindalu made! Very juicy and full if flavor. The lanes are wood and very well oiled!

This place is well kept although everything in it is old. The computer at our lane gave us false scores every once in a while (it miscounted pins). They have pitchers of beer for $6, and the prices for shoe rental and per game are quite affordable. There was very little variety of bowling balls.

Great bowling alley. The best one out of the two in Fort Walton Beach! We bring the kids here at least twice a week to participate in the Kids Bowl Free program and White Sands only charges $1 for shoe rental. Thanks for maintaining a great place for us to bring the kids. Highly recommend!

What a great place to bowl! Sunday nights is a must for Military people! 8:30pm-close, $20 gets you unlimited bowling and shoes for up to 6 people! Beer is inexpensive, food is yummy, and atmosphere is fun. We know where we are spending our Sunday nights with friends!

Good place to bowl , or shoot pool. They serve food and drinks. They have a lounge and Ms. Ellie is a very friendly bartender who provides great customer service! Their alcohol is priced nicely. The lanes are clean for bowling.

Excellent establishment. One of the better alleys Ive bowled in. Many incentives for league bowlers to bowl here. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Place is always clean and the food is pretty good too. Also has a full bar.

Good place to go with the family. Not the most fancy place but it has a good atmosphere. The food is ok not really good but if you go after eating then you should be good. The price is not bad at all and the customer service is ok

Good atmosphere for a bowling alley...typical amenities, but the snack bar is very good! Lanes are in excellent condition with the auto-score system. Staff was friendly. Our first time there, but will not be our last.
