These guys are great. Took my nine year old son out on his first ocean fishing trip with Captain Kevin and his crew. I have to say these guys went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Captain Kevin and his first mate never sat down during the whole trip. They were constantly locating fish and doing anything they could to get on them. We had a great day catching several Spanish Mackerel, Blues, and my son landed two sharks. They went out of their way to make him feel comfortable as they gave him instruction and took the time to answer any questions he had for them. At the end of the day he was all smiles and feeling very proud of himself. My experience was exceptionally great as well. I will definitely be seeing these guys again. They really make you feel welcome and theyre very down to earth guys who have a great knowledge and love for what they do. No matter whether your looking to take an inshore or offshore trip I dont see how you could go wrong choosing Afishinado Charters. A big THANKS to Captain Kevin and his crew for a great experience. UPDATE!!! Just returned from fishing trip #2 with Captain Kev, and this one was even better. Caught 2 3ft sharpnose sharks and buckets of mackerel and several bluefish. Had a lot of fun. Kevin and Ken are great to fish with. They know where the fish are, how to hookm and how to boatm, and are a pleasure to share a boat with. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Great 1/2 day with Kevin and Ken. Caught a shark. They both worked really hard to get us to where the fish were biting and to show me and my son - who had never fished before - a good time. Afterward, Kevin cleaned the fish which we enjoyed on the grill. Looking forward to next summer!!

Great experience. We visited on a Monday afternoon when the current was a little more aggressive than usual. We trolled around the bay for about 20 minutes before the crew decided wed be better off casting lines offshore. We went to one of their tried and true spots about 10 miles out and caught 18 spade fish in about 2.5 hours. The only limiting factor was that we ran out of bait! Kevin even filleted our catch for us at no extra charge. Id recommend this trip to anyone, it was a great way to spend a day off. And if you catch a bunch of fish, head over to OBriens and theyll cook it up for you. It was delicious.

The guys at AfishinadoVB Fishing Charters took us out for a perfect day of fishing. They were knowledgeable, and very friendly. None of us knew what we were doing but Captain Ken and Captain Kevin showed us all tricks and techniques that would make our trip a success. They knew exactly where to go and where the fish were. Afishinado Charters in Virginia Beach were able to fit us in last minute after our other charter was canceled. They were very hands on while also allowing us to do the work. They knew where and how to fish and allowed us to choose what kind of fish we wanted to catch. We caught plenty of Spanish Mackerel to take home, one being a citation fish, and a 7ft sand tiger shark! I would definitely recommend Afishinado Charters and look forward to fishing with them again!

My son and I had a great time. He was so tired from pulling in fish. He can not wait to go again. The brothers that run this boat are great fisherman and take care of what you need. They know where the fish are. Spanish bite was down because of the rain but they put us on some blues and nice sharks. Great experience for any father/son or just some buddies going out to have a few beers and caught some nice fish!!!! Thank you for the great trip

Went fishing with captain Keven and his brother off Virginia beach. What a great pair they are. These bothers work great together. They are very knowledgeable about the fishing around here.We caught our limit of spade fish Spanish mackeral and cobia in just a few hours. My daughter and I had a blast! Thanks guys will be back!

Fantastic Day on the Water. I have fished with Capt.Kevin a few times on his boat, and every time was a great experience. I even brought my Wife and Daughter on a chartered trip on Afishinado, and just watched the dolphins swim. Always a pleasure dealing with Capt. Kevin and Capt. Ken. Highly recommended.

Great fishing trip! The price is great and no extra charges for bait or cleaning. Captain Kevin and Ken know the waters best, they found the fishing after other charters gave up. Good people, nice boat and great fishing, I will call them again the next time I am in town.
