We had a wonderful experience touring the Macarthur Memorial Museum.. The museum is easy to maneuver and brings to life the importance of the era and the importance of MacArthur in shaping our history. The exhibits are beautifully displayed and take the visitor such as myself through history step by step. Everything was very well organized while at the same time being creative. I would recommend this museum to all ages of people. I was especially impressed with the program that they have called "foot locker" where they take foot lockers with artifacts to the various elementary schools in Virginia. This is especially important for schools who cannot afford field trips.

Really good museum! The movie they play in the smaller building gives a pretty good synopsis of his life and the main building actually explains quite coherently all of the events that led up to the onset of WWI and WWII. Theres also a lot of interesting displays and pieces that came from the war. Its fitting that Im giving it 5 stars!! Haha

I thought it was a good museum to check out. Very informative and something you can do in about an hour hour and a half. Great detail into the life of General MacArthur. If youre in Norfork, I recommend stopping. It is also free because General MacArthur wanted it that way.

Small but very interesting memorial. Its quite small but very interesting and well organized memorial. It describes the history of a great warrior of 2nd WW, and an icon in the american modern history.
