While the museum is an amazing place with a lot of history, mostly of the warships in WW2, what I envy the most is the apartments that are bang opposite the museum. What a view every time you look out the window - the USS Wisconsin. The pier is packed with information about various warships and there is a small kind of memorial in the gardens of the apartment complex. Make sure to walk around after visiting the museum. Traffic can be a hassle as there is a cruise liner that docks right next to the museum and gets extremely crowded. There is a parking structure in a nearby perpendicular street.
We got stuck before we even started: The very friendly educator at the front desk took about 20 minutes for a conversation with us about the beginnings of America, the people and ships involved and more. This was really fun - thank you! The exhibition is great, I loved the models and the videos, and the amount of information is just right for about an hour or so.
A hidden jewel in Nauticus and its free. Unfortunately the Wisconsin is no longer free. Some neat displays, especially the recreation of the monitors turret.
The Nauticus is a nice place to visit if youre into maritime stuff. If you happen to be in Norfolk, you might want to stop by and check it out.
Remarquable. USS Wisconsin à voir absolument

La exposición al público es excelente
Great place to check out if you are in the area especially during the spring and summer!
Very general, but its free and you pass though it on the way to the battleship.
Really is just Nauticus, which is an awesome Naval, and Maritime museum.
Many cool models to see! A lot of memorabilia. Excellent stop.
Fun and informative for all ages
