A+++: Stephen, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing. Our experience with him and the Fontanel Mansion was so wonderful. Once the shuttle brought us back to the winery and restaurant... That is when things went down hill fast. C-: The 4 ladies at the winery were not very nice. They saw we had groupons and said "we have two groups so can you walk around for like 15-20 mins and come back?" The building was empty except for two bridal party groups. Not one of the 4 women could help us. Wow. So we walk to the restaurant to eat and see it too is practically deserted. D+: The family we see by the do R says they have been waiting for 15 minutes to be seated but nobody has come talk to them. When someone finally comes up they offer us service before them. When we say "um they were here first" he says, it will be about a 15-20 min wait." For WHAT!? This place is empty. So we leave because that is also absurd. A+: We go to Prichards Whiskey place and they were wonderful. Great employees in there. After our purchases we walk back over to the winery. D-: The woman is open but she said her shift is about over so she isnt going to help us. She has us wait for the other woman. So other woman comes over finally and rushes the whole thing because 1.) we are Groupon people and 2.) serving wine tasters is soooo hard. If we EVER go back again it will be for whiskey and Stephen. The rest needs to restaff asap.

We just visited and really enjoyed this winery. The server we had was very attentive and knowledgable. The wine selection was fairly sparse, but we enjoyed all that we tasted. Like another review stated, if you lean towards more dry wines this may not be the place for you. There was really only one truly dry offering. The fruit wines were different than many others weve had - no artificial flavoring or colors. You can really taste the fruit. All in all, we are very glad that we stopped in here despite reading a couple of bad reviews.

While this little shopping area is very busy, I dont quite understand why. You pay $5 for 5 not-so-generous tastings, and their offerings arent varied. Out of about 15 options, theres only 1 dry - a chardonnay - and the rest are sweet or semi. The one wine my group actually liked shouldnt have even been on the menu this time of year because it was a spiced wine. The staff was friendly enough, but the wine wasnt worth even $5 to taste it.

Pristine winery with great tasting room. A must stop by for wineries aficionados traveling nearby. Among the different wines we tasted that day I enjoyed the specialty tea wine called "Naughty Tea", which I prefer over Portos wines. I even purchased a case, so did my friends!

Some really unique wines including ones made from pure fruit (instead of flavored grape wine) and tea. A nice short trail leaves from the parking lot... a great way to burn some time if you enjoy a little too much.

Great local winery. Hosts live music often, and many other events like improv comedy.
