Re-reviewing my experience at this Cinemark. I noticed since my initial review the manager seems to be realizing that his people need help and is being a lot more proactive with the customers. I have added an additional star because of this improvement. The Cinemark in Oak Ridge, TN, has installed strange stations between the lines for concessions. Once you are between the stations, its difficult to get back out again because they arent very wide and people are behind you waiting their turn. DO NOT like this new feature at my local movie place. I wasnt too impressed with the manager when I was there either. There was a line about 15 people long and only one person handling it all. The manager kept walking back and forth doing not much while he could have opened another register to help. Took a lot longer to get through the line than necessary IF the manger had been PROACTIVE and lent a hand.

Who takes a baby to the theater? Its only common courtesy to leave your infant at home with a babysitter, instead of disturbing everyone else in the theater whos trying to watch the movie. This theater is alright, theres not to much to do in Oak Ridge if youre a teen so the movie theater is a popular gathering. So you have to wade through teenagers before arriving at the ticket booth. The walking up the steps is a pain the butt, if youre handicapped or have injuries. But Im sure they have accessible entrances for those who have needs, all you would have to do is ask. I wouldnt go to this theater when its storming because for some reason their movie reel goes out and they have to hand out vouchers. Overall, I would go to this theater on a Sunday because its cheaper and less packed than the Turkey Creek theater.

very clean and the movie selection is okay took my two kids to see the advengers it was great didnt have a problem with my two kids there who are 3&13 months old i feel if you are paying for the seats you should be able to bring your kids whats the defrence between kids crying and the dude sitting in front of you laughing all crazy through the movie at things that isnt funny or the person sitting next to you who keeps talking to his girlfriend through the whole movie...this happens at any movie theater i understand respect for others but if you dnt wanna be disturbed and want it to peace and quit maybe you shouldnt go to a public place to watch a movie stay at home and wait for it to come out on dvd ...any way the place and the movies are great

I have gone here for years, and yes they do pay attention to age limits, and if someone brings their kid oh well. If you dont get a refund for being under age then talk to the manager cause they cant sell it to you legally in the first place so idk how you got the ticket, and down down rate it due to the town and people. Its much better then driving far away to go to the same experience, plus they dont do midnight release, they start the showing at 8pm the night before so it gets rid of the hassle of late night line and pre purchase.

WOW! We drove up from Knoxville because I wanted to explore a little and try a new theater. There were NO lines and parking was plentiful. Tinseltown has all the amenities that theaters in Knoxville have (stadium seating, digital sound and projection, etc) AND theyre slightly cheaper so far as tickets go. Im actually hesitant to write this review because if word gets around and loads of people start going, its going to be just as crowded as the Knoxvegas theaters. My little secret for now!

The "google user" 2 years ago with the 13month and 3yr old is a dumbass. How can you justify ruining someone elses movie bc other people are "also" rude? So I should stay home if I want to enjoy a movie without out an idiot interrupting the show? Wow! Please stop having children. Learn how to act in public and please for Gods sake teach your children when you find out. I love Tinseltown! I just wish I could enjoy it without idiots like that person ruining the show.

They always have the newer movies and plenty of seats and theaters, but not enough close parking, most of the time it feel like you have to park in a different parking area. It is always clean there including the restrooms and the floors are never sticky in the theater.

A little gem nestled and almost hidden from the world. Once inside you realize your eyes have been deceiving you! While the theater isnt one of the largest, its very well kept and staffed with super friendly people. I enjoyed my first (but not last) movie in Tennessee!

The staff are generally very friendly and the facility in pretty good condition. In one of the theaters four seat backs were broken to the point that when you leaned back one side bent back further causing you to be angled. Overall a great theater for the money.

Nice theater. Not as large as the Regal Pinnacle in Knoxville. But Tinsletown is much cheaper in price. And still shows the same films. They do have 3D films as well as all the newest High Definaition and surround sound systems too. I always come here.

Much less expensive than other area theaters. $6 each for a matinee movie. The only downside was that the wait for concessions was too long because there was only one employee going back and forth between ticket sales and concessions.

ran down, sold me a ticket and then told me i couldnt take my baby in the theater. I had to leave and had to go through the trouble of getting refunded a very bad movie experience just because I had a baby with me.

Dont go without ID apparently if you use fandango. They wont let you in and wont exchange tickets. Wasted twenty bucks with no refund because they dont have their stuff together. Wont be going back!

Awesome seating and sound. The outside is a little run down especially now with the new mall. It looks like it needs a face lift into the 21st century like the theater in Turkey Creek.

Been here many times, standard pricing for a cinema these days. Never too crowded to make your way to a seat. Convenient location once they get the roadwork done around it.

Always treated with courtesy and respect. Sure wish I could see better when trying to find my way to the seats though. Sometimes I feel like there is a fall in my future.

The facilities are clean, and the movie choices are always current with plenty of showings. Its a good place to have in this area that is currently developing (2017 Q2).

They Cinemark staff is still rude and inconsiderate about age limits. They let a 15-year old into an R-rated movie and then kicked him out in the middle of the movie.

So when I was 17 they sold me a ticket to see saw 6 and then wouldnt let me in to see the film because I was underaged. They wouldnt refund me OR let me see it.
