This classic course is one of the oldest Public courses in an area more and more known for Private clubs. This course sits atop the highest elevation in Montgomery County, and affords an amazing view of the Philly skyline from the 15th Tees. With a level and wide Front 9, and a tighter and hilly Back 9, some part of your game will be challenged. Though gently. :-) Losing a ball is nearly impossible, even in the woods, thanks to their intense grooming. The large fountain pond guarding the 18th may keep a souvenir of your round there, but you will go away with infinitely more. The 19th Hole is called Champs, and is one of the more hospitable and spacious sports bars in the area, bar none I play it every week, for leagues, and several times a month with my friends. Good course however the staff is unprofessional and the rangers are rude. These two negatives made a great round miserable. We had 14 golfers today and we all plan on telling our other friends and coworkers about our experience. Hopefully this review is seen by the course and they realize people spend their own Money to have an enjoyable day and their staff their are ruining it.

I am an African American golfer playing as a single being matched with a group of three Caucasian golfers who decided that they didnt want to play with me. Absolutely nothing was done about it and I actually ended up getting thrown off the course. I completely agree with the other reviewers mentioned that the racism there is completely unnecessary.

Staff very courteous and our Thursday senior travel group likes the course because there is no "golf path only" rule. Holes are challenging but fun course to play. The restaurant has excellent food and ice cold beer.. What more could you ask for.

Nice course with an easy layout. But the fact that the ranger was on us to "Hurry Up" on the first hole, during our SECOND SHOT was ridiculous. He threatened to make us skip a hole while we were still on track for a <4 hour round.

Racial comments made by the Banquet manager is completely unacceptable. If these guys dont want to rent their party hall to Indians they should have mentioned it before making the appointment and went to see the banquet hall.

A great public course. Front nine is open and flat and then the back nine is like a totally different course with hills, ponds and challenges. Very well maintained for a public course. I like it.

Played a few years ago. My group was held due to a 30 min rain storm. Harassed the rest of the front 9 by the ranger for "open holes". Would not go back if it was free.

I was at a party in their hall, which was very nice, except for the diminutive dance floor. The views are nice and theres plenty of parking.
