I was an invited guest yesterday, Saturday July 8th, to join friends for a round of golf. I feel it necessary to mention that I was there as a trial run before pursuing a club membership. This said, after finishing the 9th hole, I went inside the bar area to grab a quick hotdog before continuing with our round. A young lady in the bar directed me to the snack bar in the pool area. When ordering (1) hotdog in the snack bar, I was REFUSED SERVICE because I was not a member. I understand membership has its privileges, but refusing service to ANYONE for (1) hotdog is inexcusable. In 40 years of life on this earth, I have never heard something so pathetically stupid. Im not expecting to hear anything in response to this, but as a result, Ill begin looking into other membership possibilities where my guests will be able to purchase something to eat without being looked down upon, and treated as poorly as I was when simply trying to spend money at your course.
