I think the quality of the movies and the theater itself deserve five stars, the seats are very comfortable and its always clean. Also, I was worried because loud noises hurt my sons ears, but it didnt bother him in the slightest. Moms and Dads, you know what I mean. Dont get me wrong, its loud enough and the surround sound is put up in such a way that you feel like youre in the movie. HOWEVER, the prices of drinks and popcorn are BEYOND ridiculous. Its only the three of us, and for each of us to get a small drink and small popcorn it cost considerably more than the price of the tickets. Overall, Id recommend this theater, but make sure you sneak in drinks and snacks (which Im pretty sure is against the rules) or be prepared to spend your whole paycheck. Or you could just go hungry ; ) Oh, and the guy who takes the tickets, he is always very kind and respectful to us, and especially to my 5 year old son, we love him. His excellent customer service makes the start of our movie experience a pleasant one, and you can see that his kindness is genuine and not just whats expected of his job, which is rare these days. All in all, I highly recommend this theater, and we can just pray that theyll come to their senses and stop over-charging for snacks.

Bought advanced tickets for IMAX. Did not realize that only certain seats make it the best experience. When we got there the only seats available were in the front row which made it the worst experience. Everything was horribly distorted, could not make sense of the picture, it was awful. I knew I had to get my tickets early, I did not know that there are seats in that theatre that make it unwatchable. I felt that it should be an incredible experience regardless of where you sit, after all the tickets are all the same price. At a baseball game different seats have different prices. I gave 3 stars and not 1 because I wrote an email to them and they gave me movie passes in amount that I paid. Great service, they stand by their customers for sure. However they should remove the entire first 5 rows for IMAX presentations. Its rude and totally unwatchable from there

Pretty good theater with fantastic seats and an IMAX. While it isnt exactly a "real" or "full-size" IMAX, it certainly does the job for this area. Its about the same size the Cinemark XD theater in Moosic. My only gripe about the place is their inability to get people in theaters or manage their "Remain in Lobby" signs. Itll be five minutes before a show starts and no one is allowed to enter the theater. Or theyll never update those signs and youll sit outside only to get in the theater where its been packed for 20 minutes. This hasnt gotten any better after the Regal takeover and Ive found myself traveling the extra 15 minutes to Cinemark instead. Not to mention ticket prices are around .50 to .25 cheaper for most shows. Overall, its a pretty good theater with pretty poor management. If youre looking for a more well rounded experience, Id suggest the Cinemark in Moosic.

I opened a g mail account to see if I would get a response using my real name. That said I am reposting the same review from 3 weeks ago. The theater is extremely comfortable and clean. I do not find the food and beverages to be any more expensive than other theaters. However, I went to see Star Trek Beyond on 02 Aug 2016 in standard 2D format and the screen was extremely under lit. I could not make out what was happening to what character in a few instances. This is my favorite theater and I was extremely disappointed. Update 06 Aug 2016 I see responses from the owner to complaints about popcorn prices but I cannot get a response the screen being so dark it is unwatchable. I expected better.

Nor only is IMAX in 3-D (most films) but IMAX is the best 3-D/Movie watching experience I have ever had. For a long time I hated going to the movie theaters. However, IMAX is so god that now I regularly drive 40min ➡1hr simply to experience the best way to view a film. Dickson City Regal Cinemas is the only place I have seen an IMAX film, but I believe it is the best, not only because of the former reason, because I have received many extra perks. For example, for the Hobbit Films, The Star Trek film (with Chris Pine as Kirk), & The Guardians of The Galaxy they were giving out High Quality Lithograph posters.

Regal 14 is my favorite Movie Theater in the area. Contrary to a previous review, their popcorn is very good and full of flavor not kernels. Staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the people with bad reviews were angry that tickets were sold out, or they had to sit in the front row because they didnt show up early enough to get a better seat. They say everything in the snack bar is overpriced, but you would be hard pressed to find a movie theater with snacks cheaper than here, every theater is expensive. One guy left a bad review even though they refunded his ticket! Really.

Theater is clean. Seats are comfortable. Snacks are OUTRAGEOUSLY PRICED!! Even with some bigger than usual boxes for some items its still much too much to pay. Popcorn should be spectacular for $8.00 but it isnt. I take my grandchildren for some of the childrens movies at least once a month and it takes a big chunk out of my budget each time. I would like to see them re-evaluate their concession prices. I might spend almost the same amount but at least the children would get a variety of snacks instead of having to throw out half of those big boxes. Thank you

Similar quality to that of Cinemark. My first suggestion to management would be to have staff cleaning the theatres more throughly and more quickly before the start of the show. Our movie started at 10:40 today and we werent even allowed in the theatre until 10:30. There isnt much other seating while you wait to be allowed in the theatre. Also the theatres climate was an issue. It was much warmer in there than it should be. Still, overall an excellent evening at Regal Cinemas.

I love this movie theater its just one thing that throws it off. The staff is very rude and not very understanding... my friend and I were watching a movie and left to go to the bathroom. We came back and next thing you know, the staff kicked us out for peeing. We asked why we got kicked out and they said we got complaints about going to the bathroom... never going again! At least we went to froyo after, now thats 5 stars!!!
