Really enjoy the homely atmosphere. Be prepared to enjoy yourself but umbrellas and large bags are not allowed. You and your bags may be searched. Security staff is usually respectful and helpful-they know the traffic patterns so its best to comply. I have recognized much of the staff here for the last 6 seasons-security, ticketing and vending. I ride public transport-SEPTA 113 from 69th street will bring you directly to stadium otherwise you will need to get the shuttle from Chester Transportation Center. Shuttle runs only during Union matches and begins/ends 2 hrs. prior/after. Service desk is very helpful with special needs. Concessions are pricey but dont settle for hot dogs or soda-many various food options available. Season Ticket Membership allows you to visit the Club area after each match. Team may sign items or take photos after games. Youre not rushed out after the game and allowed in 1hr. before each match. Be ready to chant and sing! Jungite Aut Perite!

Talen Energy Stadium (formerly PPL Park) is an awesome venue to watch soccer! The stadium is situated between the Delaware River waterfront and the Commodore Barry Bridge in Chester, PA. The whole stadium complex is extremely safe and welcoming for families and tailgaters. The stadiums concessions have a great variety of food items and their beer and liquor selection is pretty great. The prices are high, but that seems to be the norm at sporting and music venues in 2017. The views in the stadium are the best part of watching MLS there. There is not a bad seat in the entire place! I sit in the River End with the Delaware River behind me and the bridge to my right. The pitch (grass field) is always in impeccable shape!

I go there frequently to watch the Philadelphia Union play. Its a really cool experience. Parking is a bit of a hike as there is little parking at the actual stadium but you can park at the training fields which are right next to it. Would like too see some renovations for more seating (that is if games start selling out) but dont know where they could be added. They drop prizes (with parachutes on them, dont worry) which are usually gift cards from their sponsers like ACME from shoots but not every seat is under one. I would recommend sitting in the very middle of the wide seating if you want to try to get one. Overall really cool and energetic, that is if were winning of course. ;)

It is an open air stadium. There are numerous parking lots in the area. Some sanctioned and are actual parking lots others are just grass lots. There isnt any security for these lots that I am aware of. So with that do not leave anything of value in plain sight. You are in Chester City. And there are numerous crimes committed daily in the city. Not saying you have anything to worry about walking from the parking lot to the stadium or vis versa. There is usually tailgating that occurs prior to the event. As long as you arent disrespectful i.e. smashing bottles, urinating outside, or acting disorderly you have nothing to worry about.

The Stadium is a FANTASTIC venue to watch a soccer game! There is an intimacy to the Stadium...from 20 rows up, I felt that I was right in the middle of the action. The voices of the players calling for the ball or giving instruction to teammates were heard AND understood (except for the other languages from foreign players). The Stadium is very easy to navigate and the Staff/Security were most helpful. The locations of the Bath Rooms and food stations were frequent. The Philadelphia Union did an outstanding job with the design of this venue!! 5 Star Stadium....

Beautiful stadium EXCEPT...on the website it states that parking costs $20.00, HOWEVER when we arrive and pulled into the parking lot, we were told that THIS parking lot costs $40.00. When I questioned that, I was told that the $20 parking is "over there" but in this lot its easier to get out and you can avoid all the traffic. He also told me that this field has lights as well as people directing traffic. Well, there was NONE of that! I believe that they were charging $40.00 and pocketing half for themselves. Very poor PR!!!

Have loved coming to this stadium for years. Good food, clean, comfortable. But this year they exceeded all expectations when I contacted them regarding my type 1 diabetic grandsons dietary requirements, and they have gone above and beyond to accommodate us. They have also been very understanding of his larger-than-normally-allowed medical bag; and very kindly showed us the first aid room where I can give my grandson his insulin shots in a quieter, more private environment. Amazing customer service!!

This is a small soccer specific stadium. There really are no bad seats anywhere. A good variety of food vendors and everything I have tried there is tasty. There are plenty of bathrooms and the lines move pretty quickly even at peak times, like halftime of a game. There are official lots available adjacent to the stadium and third party lots all around. Also plenty of street parking if you dont mind walking a few blocks. Bring rain gear in rainy weather as the overhead covering is very small.

Great soccer-specific stadium! Almost all seats have a good view, but there are a few seats up top that have obstructed views that I dont believe are noted as such when purchasing seats. Decent food offerings, excellent beer choices, both at typical stadium prices, of course. Parking is a little dicey - its spread out in a wide area and some areas are in dire need of paving. Official lots are $15 & $20, plus there are private lots (yards) that are $10 and seem safe.

I am a SoB and STH for the Union, so Im here a lot. I love this stadium. The set up is great, plus theyve added the craft beer deck. There are a whole bunch of options for food and alcohol. It is priced like a typical stadium, so it can seem a little expensive, but it is still probably cheaper than at any other stadium in Philly. There is rarely a line for the womens room, and when there is it moves fast. The mens room line can get crazy long.

One of the cleanest sports venues that I have ever visited in my life. Unfortunately though, the neighborhood that surround the area needs to be built up in order to make the stadium and easier selling point. Improving to roadways to get in and out of the stadium should be something that the Union should look into. Leaving the park on a hot summer night can be a pain sometimes because of the narrow pathways and streets surrounding the venue.

We feel safe tail gating here. Security and parking attendants are on their game. No bad seats in the stadium. Prices for food not exorbitant. Field well maintained and seating is clean and comfortable. Leaving the parking lot is tedious as you are all trying to avoid driving through local residential neighborhoods and access the one highway. This needs to be tweeked when funds are found to correct traffic exiting lots.

My wife was kicked out of line for having a pocketbook that they claim was oversized. Parking varied between $10 and $30. The $30 lot was unadvertised so if you were in line you were stuck with overpriced parking that was only one block away from the $10 lot. Lesson learned park only in an advertised lot and have your wife carry nothing bigger than a purse. Beyond that we had a great experience once in the stadium.
