Ticket office staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Me and a friend walked up to the window to buy tickets for a DCU game . We told them we were paying separately so I purchased a ticket then when my friend tried to buy one they told us we couldnt sit together since we were buying separately. They gave us no warning at all that this was the case before I bought my ticket. We asked if I could just refund my ticket so we could buy 2 tickets together and they wouldnt do it. At one point the manager there, Ronda, told us they wouldnt help us, that we were wasting our time, and just walked away. After getting nowhere with them we found an admin office, and a steward walked us back to the ticket office and had another employee exchange the tickets. Horrible customer service, especially from Ronda.

Ive been here a few times for DC United games and the games themselves are great and fun. The stadium on the other hand is certainly showing its age. Its easy to get to since its metro accessible and you wont have to worry about parking in the area which can be a pain or expensive. I appreciate the events the venue still gets and enjoy that its more so metro accessible than other venues. Ive never been to a game here when its sold out so theres always tickets available and theyre not expensive.

Parking was terrible but that was to be expected. What wasnt expected and them to run out of beer before the game started or for us to ask 5 different employees how to get to our seats and they all tell us different answers, the manager even told us he didnt know. Lastly, they ran out of food at half time, how do you run out of food when you know how many people are going to attend the game. Poorly planned event and poorly trained staff.

Ill always remember my first DCU game here. Drove 3 hours from JMU and got stuck in traffic for an hour of it. Missed half the game and then stood awkwardly in the middle of cheering fans as they celebrated a DC win. I had no clue it was that crazy. Now Im there every home game. Lot 8 is the place to be any of the 4-6 hours before a game. Ill miss it when the new stadium opens, but I wont miss the crazy traffic.

I bought food from the concession stand while at a game here a few weeks ago, the charge cleared but then three weeks later they charged me for it again so I called my bank to dispute the second charge and they returned my money and then two days later RFK had charged me again and today my friend informed me that they did the same thing to her!

I went to a DCU game for the first time and heres my review When I got to the stadium there were small concourses with not really anything to sell but stuff you would think at games Chicken Tenders, Burgers Hot Dogs Beer and Sodas a very intimate bowl though, Scoreboard not great. But in all come to a game within the next year and a half.

Decrepit, ruinous shell. RFK is an eyesore on the city and nearly as bad on the inside. All of the paint is faded, most of the medal is rusting through, leaks in the concourses, poor concession choices and prices are actually going up for this dump for events like Soccer and concerts. Just put it out of its misery already!

Needs renovations and security needs to work smarter to let people in. Example: one of the times we went they had two lines, one with bags and the other one without bags, but from almost 1/3 of a mile away from the gate you could not see that. When we got to the gate they made us do the line again because we had a bag.

We went here for a DC United soccer game. The staff are friendly and informative and everyone obviously works hard to get you to come back. I I rate it only okay because the stadium itself is obviously an older, decrepit stadium. However we would definitely go back for another soccer game. We had lots of fun.

Stadium is run down, old and unkempt. Disrespectful fans. Limited concessions choices. People were staring at my wife like they had never seen a woman before. People throwing beer everywhere. Ridiculous. By far the WORST sporting match Ive EVER been too.

The old place really is falling apart. DC Uniteds final season has been a real letdown which is a shame since the stadium has hosted so many great events in the past. The paint is peeling. It will probably fall down on its own once DCU moves out.

Its an old stadium. RFK is at the end of its life, and its not being maintained because of that. The amenities are lacking, the paint is peeling, its a long walk from the metro, and most importantly, the views of the playing field suck.

This might be the worst professional stadium I have ever been to. It looks like nothing has been updated in at least five years. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking. I am excited for the new DC United stadium.

Not a single comfortable seat, everyone is packed in, tiny jumbo-tron (which glitches), cracking audio, and no cup holders. Yet, everything they sell is just as expensive as an average stadium. This needs an update badly.

This place is falling apart. The stands rock when supporters get rowdy. There were presidential mascots taking penalty kicks at half time. Itll be a shame when they tear down this scourge on the earth. Im glad I went.

I came on a rainy day so everything was wet (seats and even the bathroom area), and I felt the stadium was fairly run down. But overall, it was maintained well. I see why they will be relocating in the future though.

We loved DC United and coming to watch them play at RFK! Parking is easy in the many lots and the stadium has bathrooms, kiosks for food and drink and even some perches available to watch the action. Vamos United!

Dont get me wrong, I love soccer and DC United! However this stadium is falling apart and in an awful location. No food around the outside of stadium, bad acoustics, and not meant to hold excited soccer fans.

Oh RFK... Besides the normal sports game priced food and occasional uncleanliness, its pretty fun to be here and watch dc united games. Lines move quick. Seats are pretty old as is the whole stadium.

RFK is a gem!! I always have a great time coming here no matter the event. The condition and construction of the building offer a unique guest experience that should be embraced not criticized.
