We went here for Valentines day randomly, it was totally dead but it was still was fun. The bartender there made us good stiff drinks, and provided a bit of conversation back and forth which made for a fun atmosphere. We were disappointed when we found out they didnt have coffee for Spanish Coffee but he ordered it in. The icing on the cake was when we wanted whip cream and he didnt have any. 5 minutes later he showed up shaking a whip cream can, "Eh, I had a store bring in some whip cream." Had he not done that we probably would of left long ago and not continued to leave our cash there. Thanks!

Great bar with live band and even karaoke! Came here for a party and was pleasantly surprised with good service. The food we ordered was pretty good but definitely not healthy. Chicken fingers are delicious, especially because of the mustard they come with! The bartenders tend to remember what your drink was and are quick to give you a refill as you approach the bar. The band is really good and will play the song on the stage as you and your friends try to yell out the words in the microphone in an attempt to produce a famous song during the karaoke night. Overall, good experience!

Fun if you hate your ears and want to spend your night wincing as strangers spit-talk to you. Let me preface: I like loud college bars as much as the next person, but Session 73 is awful on a weekend night. Its either A) dead, or B) so crowded and loud (theres usually a live band playing) that you cant hear anyone. If youre looking for places to go out, this isnt terrible if you live close by. But at least for me, there are too many other options on the Upper East Side that Id prefer over this one. Also keep in mind, Ive been here over 10 times (forced by friends).

Found this guy on Yelp and I was a little hesitant having some stranger plan my bday party . But that is not at all the case. He was able to accommodate all my guests and made sure everyone was able to get in no problem. Seriously, he makes sure you have a great time (like youre one of his friends!) I also appreciated his professionalism and how he constantly followed up with me as needed. Sound Nightclub was fun, fun, fun! I was surround by good company, good music, and good vibes. All around a great night. Thanks Session 73!! :) lets party again sometime soon!

I made arrangements with a manager to have my birthday party here. However, I got to the venue 45 minutes after the expected start time and another event was still going on and neither I nor my friends were let in. I was forced to immediately find another venue. It seems this place has no ability to keep to its word. Skip this place and go elsewhere.

Mundo is so fun and swanky! We moved into the area a year ago and have always walked/driven by this restaurant. We finally checked it out last week and had such a great time. The Red Sonja, Cheese sticks, and Empanadas were bomb!. The live spanish flamenco band added an extra dose of fun to the night. We will be back!

Terrible food. Terrible service. Took 45 minutes and some complaining to get a glass of water. Took over an hour to get food. Some food was burned. Some food was cold and tasteless. Never received all of the food I ordered. I will not go there again. The only positive was the pleasant attitude of the workers.

Came here on a weeknight close to christmas with some work people. Place emptied out pretty early into the night. There was a live band playing to-just us. The place is actually spacious, the bartender seemed polite and the music wasnt altogether terrible, but, nothing seemed beyond ordinary.

Great place to hang out and rock out to various coer bands, learn salsa on Mondays and chat with the bartenders. BTW Halloween weekend is usually a blast and this year was the bomb! Marathon Sunday should be just as good all day with quality football on too

It reminds me of a good college bar. It has lots of space and the furniture isnt too nice so you feel comfortable. But the floors are a bit dirty and it can smell a bit too much like stale beer. GREAT for live bands.

This was my brothers favorite bar. I understand why. Great staff! I adored every employee I came into contact with. They honored my brother with a gathering after he died. I will never forget that. Thanks guys.

Fun place to hang out but they overcharged my credit card an additional $5 when I tipped cash instead of tipping on the card. Scummy move, Session 73. Ill be stopping in soon to have a word with management.

During the weekdays they have live music, and the weekends theres decent top 40 going on. I came here with coworkers after our holiday party, so that was a good time. The bartenders were generally nice

A fun music venue with friendly staff. The doors to enter the venue are a bit heavy and the handle was too high for me to reach. Otherwise it was a positive experience with reasonably priced beverages.

it is a good place for salsa on mondays with a live band, dancers and space to dance for only $5, the drinks specials are worthy and the pizza is tasty too, the music i a bit tooooo loud for talking

Fun bar, good drinks. Live music, which was a plus. At the end of the day, there are about 10,000 of these places in New York, you can just pick one at random. No need to make a special trip.

Speciality drinks (jalapeno Moscow Mule for example) are really good. Saturday nights they have a live band playing starting at 11:30. Some are better than others but overall a good time!

This place is SO freaking fun. Live cover bands on the weekends are amazing. We always end up at sessions for a night cap and to dance to some throwbacks

This is my favorite bar on the upper east side. The people are fantastic. It is one of those neighborhood bars that you always have as a go to spot.
