Save your time, effort and money by skipping this "bistro". Not only was the food awful but the drinks were made very poorly by an "owner" who had a "vested interest" in the restaurant who insulted many people sitting at the bar. While there for 8:00 pm drinks, she states to a server in front of patrons, "I should have locked the doors an hour ago", after patrons ordered over-priced bottles of 2006 Heitz Cellars wine. She then proceeded to insult other patrons upon each order, stating that they were not "enjoying the booze" the way they should be. All in all, if an "owner" treats a well-paying customer in this manner, in this economy, they dont deserve the business. Perhaps her equity in the business has earned her so much money that she is able to insult patrons to the point where they are ready to walk out the door and not spend another dime. Please save your money and dignity and spend money at a dignified locale, where the owners are appreciative for business and not so pretentious that your evening is soured. Overall, an horrible experience, at best.

My husband and I went here a couple weeks ago on A LOT of recommendations. We were so disappointed! The wine was wonderful (chosen on recommendations from knowledgeable staff) and the service was great. The atmosphere is nice and very inviting. But the food was just plain terrible. I had a pasta dish with calamari and crab in a vodka sauce and my husband had the sticky chicken (one of their signature dishes). My dish was terrible - it had absolutely no flavor and the texture combination with the crab and the sauce and the pasta left something to be desired. It was a mushy mess. My husbands chicken was tasty, but the spices were even a little strong for our tastes and I cant say I believe it to be authentic New Orleans style food. The portions were decently sized, but not worth the price at all. Needless to say we definitely wont be going back. If you want authentic southern-style food, please go to Hatties, its just around the corner.

I went to One Caroline TWICE and received THE WORST SERVICE I have ever received in my life. The first time, I went with my mother later in the evening during some live music and we were simply NOT WAITED ON. We could NOT get the attention of any of the waiters and were ignored. The second time, we went a couple months later with a group of people and SAME STORY. We could hardly get anything. It took FOREVER to get a single drink. One Caroline is a place in Saratoga I will never step foot in again.

Great food. The creole chowder is amazing and I was sad that it wasnt served at chowderfest! A little overpriced on the tapas we had and our waiter didnt seem to know what he was talking about, expecially with wine recommendations, which is improtant in a classy and expensive restaurant. I would still recommend it though!

2016: Great food, fun drinks and atmosphere. Small place done well Update 2017: we were so excited to return but the food was average, service was below average, entertainment was no good. Not sure if they changed management but we are not planning on returning. One star

Food and drinks were subpar for the prices. I had the beef short ribs on rice. It was underseasoned and kinda watery. The space was cute and cosy but I didnt leave feeling like i spent my money well.

This place is my favorite to go on a date. Live music on certain nights of the week which is so much fun. Farm to table food with nice flavor. My Top 5 best restaurant in Saratoga!!

Really chill with a great atmosphere for relaxing and having a good conversation. They have a piano and I think we just missed a live performance. Definitely reccomend.
