My wife and I had our wedding reception here. Even though the Event Coordinator quit her job while coordinating our wedding, management did not pick up the ball and our reception was greatly disappointing, we made the best of it. Typical golf club mentally - members (Even though some of us were members at the time and a couple still are) get all of the prioritization despite the fact that we paid a large amount of money for our event. The event space in the main clubhouse was very dated and simply not worth the trouble even though the location was exactly where we needed it and other members pressed the issue. Disappointing and unfriendly. Do not schedule events here!

Ive been a member now for a year and a half and have been very pleased with the management, course and the lack of snobs at Rivermont. Right now the course is suffering like most courses with the high heat but Im sure it will be in great shape come late September.
