Man From Milton

Nice amenities but tacky home designs. As an Atlanta native, I have seen home designs come and go in one suburban subdivision after another but this one takes the cake. While I dont fault the nouveaux riche, there must be a better way to demonstrate that you have arrived than one of these overdone, garishly decorated homes. Even though they arent that old, they already look outdated. Nonetheless, they seem to have an appeal to the NJ/NY residents that have migrated south, which in my book is another reason to avoid this place. I heard the Manor best described by local real estate agents as the place where breast augmentations, bleached hair, and bleached teeth all come to reside.

The course is usually in great shape. Well maintained for the most part. Golf shop staff are attentive and helpful. Hard to get morning tee time and this has been raised to the management. Service is unfortunately inconsistent. Chef Michael does a good job but other parts of the operation just dont keep up. The layout and design of the club house does not take advantage of the great views it could have. Theyve also lost the traditional interior setting by turning it more into a sports bar. Outside patio/deck overlooks a parking lot. Waste treatment plan is next to practice range and tee box #1. Sometimes you get a nice morning small you dont really want to smell.

Great tennis facility. My son has played many tournaments here. The clay courts are in great shape and the indoor courts are wonderful when it is cold outside.

Top notch club. The service and amenities are all first class. The course is fantastic and the tennis facilities are some of the best in Atlanta.
