I wish I could leave two separate reviews. I give the waterpark itself a 5 stars hands down. Awesome place for families and even some thrill rides for the adults! Great great great waterpark. The service overall was horrible! I would give it 0 stars. We ordered a pizza and waited 43 minutes (we timed it) before it was ready. When the manager found out we were waiting, she scoffed as if we were putting her out. Then we went to the dipping dots stand.........we were told we needed to walk across the park to pay and then come back to pick it up. what???? That is when we decided to just get snow cones instead. We were told they only take cash so we went to the gift shop to the atm. you guessed it.........atm maching was out of order. We go back to pick up our dipping dots we had already walked cross country to pay for and they were out of that flavor now. That being said, we will give anyone a second chance. Hopefully the management will read this review and make some changes before we come back.

My grand kids love it and cant wait for summer to arrive so they can go. They go every year for about 5hrs a day with their season tickets, but they dont understand that I have to sit out there in the horrible sun spending loads of money. The good thing is with those season passes you get discounts so its not as much and you get in free but each pass is $100 at least and I personally think that is insane! As long as they are happy I am too!! And thats one of the reasons I gave them a high rating also because of the discount that made it a little less expensive.

Even though castaway cove is a fun place I think it is way to over priced. If the price is so high then the food should be lowered. Also if the wave pool isnt working or the kiddy bucket thing, then lower prices. People are paying their earned money to come enjoy all of castaway cove. They shouldnt be spending that much if what they paid for is broken. Also there are way to many rules at castaway cove. We cant jump in the water? What? Why? I mean kids are going to get hurt yes and its the lifeguards jobs to protect them but man let them live a little!

My teen loves the water park. My main complaint is the cost of the food and drinks and the fact that you cant bring coolers in. I drop my daughter off and she spends the day. It costs me a ton of money because of the food/drink cost. Nice pic-nick area but no place to store a cooler so thats not an option when dropping a teen off for the day. This is a city owned park but it is not very friendly to the tax paying residents. .

For the money a person has to pay to get in they should allow coolers to be brought inside. I was very disappointed taking a grand daughter where the wave machine was broken down and the big bucket for the kiddies was also down. We go there to enjoy the wave pool. When things are broke down you should lower the cost of entry. But again lower the cost because you are going to lose business with Burkburnett having one open.

The Castaway Cove Waterpark does not provide too much for its entrance fee. Have seen better for lower cost. It might be fun for kids but if you are more than 16y/o it will not be much thrilling I guess. I spend around 1hour there before I got bored. At least it wasnt too crowded and you could use the slides almost immediately. Did not try any food or drinks because I was gone too quickly to get thirsty or anything.

Always have a lot of fun when I come here. The only thing that would make it better is if they did better at keeping the floats for the slides and wave pool inflated better. Last time I went me and my friend kept flipping on the slide when we hit the water because the floats were poorly inflated. But the drag is always friendly and lifeguards are always at attention

We always have a great time here! Its clean, friendly and helpful staff, even when crowded the wait isnt long for the slides. Snacks average about $3.00 each and I bring in bottles of water from home every time and they dont have a problem with that. If you are just visiting for the weekend, ask about discount tickets because they are always running specials!

its great for a local water park. We save tons of money on gas buy going local instead of to the metroplex and that in itself it worth the price of Castaway Cove. This will be the 3 year we have had season passes and you get coupons to give to friends. I agree the they do need to vacuum more for sand/dirt/leaves. Great for our 4 year.

Although it should be little cheaper, and not the cleanest in bathrooms, I still think the slides and attractions they have are very fun and keeps you busy. Staff is helpful, Id wish theyd lower prices if slides were alternating (due to low staff). But a great place to spend a hot day in Texas!

Its alright. This is my first time back in 10 years and, except for 2 slides, is the same park. The staff is pretty anal about the rules. The food and stuff is OK. Pretty reasonably priced. Overall, a nice water park for the family but the thrill seeker should stay home.

Great place to take the little kids, but it is disgusting. The womens toilets are horrible, the floor is sticky, most of toilets dont have working locks. The staff are pretty unhelpful. Really overpriced. If you go wear Aqua Socks. If we didnt have kids, we wouldnt go.

This place is great for little kids. My son is almost four and he can spend all day in the kid area. My seven year old daughter, on the other hand, starts to get a little bored. Not sure how teenagers or adults would feel here all day. I just chase my son around.

Great place in Wichita Falls for families and children! I love taking my son here and he loves the park. So happy WF has Castaway Cove! Only down side is the full day tickets are pricey but Ive never paid full price for a ticket! There are $5 off coupons!

It was fun for my 3 year old and gave us something to do in this heat! Its pretty small but had enough to keep us entertained for a couple of hours. Not as much to do for older kids/adults though. Prices high unless you get a season pass

Over priced for what is offered at a park this size. The pricing is equivalent to that of a waterpark in a large city. Also, the restrooms were beyond disgusting, and the staffs overall level of friendliness was poor.

Its the best waterpark ever. It has food and drinks and its an experience the whole family will enjoy.and its very fun and its not overpriced at all. The staff is really kind and the thrillseeker should really come.

Theres something for everyone in the family. The kiddie park might need to have some age restrictions. Theres been numerous times Ive had to shield my toddler from getting run over by teenagers running through.
