I may be addicted to this theaters popcorn. I dont know what it is, but its delicious. Their ticket prices are great, the movies are awesome, and the theater has more than just regular movies, it has the Rocky Horror Picture show. I was a proud member of the kickstarter to help this theater go digital, because the loss of this amazing gem of a place would have been heartbreaking. The manager is an absolute sweetheart, and someone Im proud to call "Momma." I feel more like a family member when I go here, whether its for Rocky, Friday Night Frights, the film festival, or just a regular film. Ive had friends married here, attended birthday parties here, and more. Ive never been paid to work there, but I am proud to help clean up after shows, because I feel like this theater belongs to its community in a way that modern theaters never will. <3 you Blue Mouse, never change.

Ive been to over three dozen movies at this theatre so I can say with confidence that you should visit. The ticket price is good, ranging from $4-$9 depending on the day and movie. Popcorn and other food prices are reasonable, and the sound system is good too. Usually they play one movie for a week then move onto the next movie on the following Friday. Usually the movies here are 3-7 weeks from coming out on DVD. So if you missed a movie in theatres but dont want to rent it and watch it on your tiny TV at home this is the place to see it on a theatre sized screen! One thing that could change is the seating, theyre getting a bit worn out guys... Not that they arent comfortable, just need to be replaced within the next year. =) Its a great place, so go check it out! And dont forget to check their website weekly to see whats coming!

This is a very old very cool old theater. That said you get what you pay for the prices are cheap and its a neat old place. The seats arnt very comfortable so if its a long movie your butt will be sore by the end. The Screen is small and pretty far away so you have to sit toward the front Sound is actually all updated and good. So for a cheap place to see Movies this is a cool place but nothing like the modern theaters. But that said we enjoy going here for the old theater feel and cool people that work there.

Went here for the first time last night. My family had a great time. Yes, the theater is old and the screen is small. So what. The price was right, the crowd was fun to be with, Old doesnt mean crappy to me. I loved the nostalgic feel. The ticket taker was a pleasure to chit chat with while buying our seats. If there was anything wrong, it would be that the boys bathroom wouldnt lock. But I am sure that is a temporary problem, not a deal breaker for staying away from this cute movie house.

This is one of the best movie values around. Sure its old, sure its small, but versus what you pay for a ticket and concessions, and not having to deal with 10,000 whining mall rats, it is top notch. We even rented out the whole place for our sons birthday last year and brought our own movie to watch. How cool is that? The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Do not go here, and do not tell your friends about it. I want it all to myself. I kid; I kid.

So cute & unique local theater! Love how its only one screen available so whatever they are showing, that will be it. Limited viewing makes it more special, I think. Staff are friendly and clean space. Only thing is that if youre used to comfortable soft seats, there is none here. Very old fashion stiff seatings here but still worth the cost. Also, Mon&Tues. Films they show are only $4!

This building is a great piece of history in Tacoma. Im proud of everyone who worked so hard to keep it from going under. The people are friendly, both the staff and movie goers. The movies are well chosen, and the cost for everything is less then half of what you would pay at other cinemas. Best of all, youre supporting a local business. Keep up the good work and I hope more people go.

I absolutely love the Blue Mouse Theater. My family and I come here all the time. The seating is great. So are the prices. I love feeling like Im going back in time with the vintage feel. They usually have movies for younger people but we go anyways since the environment is fun. In the summer they also have fun old movies that they play during the week.

Adorable, quaint place! From what I could tell, its in great condition for being almost being 100 yrs old. I liked that it was vintage and small, and the original light on the ceiling was a classic beauty....amazing color. The seats I saw needed to be cleaned, but what cloth seat theatre doesnt! Next visit, Ill really check out the place.

If you attend films regularly, make sure to get a punch card. As you punch around the card you get free popcorn and at the end you get a free admission! This is on top of their already great prices; most shows are $6. This is the gem of Proctor. I hope it will remain safe amidst all the development in the neighborhood.

Such a cute theater! Movies wont be brand new, but theyll be good. In addition, tickets and concessions are incredibly cheap compared to other theaters. Theres only one screen, so whatevers playing is what youll be watching. Local schools and groups can rent this out for live performances or concerts as well.

No the customer service is not good. The ticket people act like they hate their job. Ive never had them smile or act like they cared. They need floor lighting its very dark as you enter the theater

The seats are rather uncomfortable, but the prices here are great. I wish they could show more movies at one time, but it is nice to be able to support a local theatre, and the service is great!

What a great historic theater. This place has been around for decades. I used to walk to movies here when I was young. Its been updated but it hasnt lost its old school feel.
