I took my wife out on the Sunday supper cruise for our anniversary. The experience was exquisite and you really felt like first class. I believe the ticket prices are pretty accessible to everyone even if you have to save up a little bit Its totally worth it. I got two tickets on Goldstar for $45 each. The full price I believe is somewhere between 50 to $60 each, which I would still pay for this experience. Ticket price includes the cruise and food. The food was amazing five star quality food. They offer a small limited menu of very well prepared foods our particular Cruise had marinated flank steak, delicious macaroni and cheese (NOTHING like the box kind), salmon, and mushroom lasagna. The menu varies between cruises. The service was very attentive and the captain even came down and personally gave my wife roses for our anniversary. The thought and consideration of that really meant a lot to us. The food is buffet style so you can go up and get food whenever you want to. Dessert was provided after and was also delicious. They have a full bar which you can order from or ask your waiter for any drink you want. You do have to pay for drinks but that just makes sense from an economic standpoint and while I wont say the prices are a bargain they were also not extreme either. There is some narration on the cruise about various points of interest along the Route. However it is not overbearing and quite frankly I enjoyed the fact that someone wasnt talking over the loudspeaker the whole time. As far as the view I didnt feel like there was any fantastic amazing epic things to see other than Bill Gates house but regardless of whether you get a lot out of the view or not you will still enjoy the cruise and the dinner tremendously. If the weather is nice or like a true Washingtonian you dont care about the rain you can also walk out on the decks and enjoy the scenery as you sip on wine or whatever you like Overall we had a great time and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to go, whether as a group to have fun or as a couple on a romantic dinner on the water!

My wife and I took the Sunset Dinner Cruise on Fri 5/29/09. What a wonderful, relaxing evening!! We were pampered by attentive service, starting with the captain himself meeting us at the dock and welcoming us aboard. We could sit inside or out and there was plenty of freedom to walk about the entire boat during the trip. The cruise took us all around the lake and through the "Cut" over by the UW campus. There were the rich mansions of Medina to envy and all the while the captain shared stories about the area and the people who live there. One rich guy even has his own personal dinosaur skeleton on display in the main room of his house! And the food! It was hot and freshly prepared. The veggies were not overcooked, the beef dish had a rich gravy. The salmon was tender and moist - not overdone at all. Makes my mouth water just to remember it all. The bar offered a nice selection of drinks with bottled beers from light to dark. Quite a few people commented on how exceptional the wines were. All in all, it was a memorable evening and one that we look forward to repeating again with friends and family. Be sure to bring a camera because there are lots of great photo opportunities and you will want to be able to share the pictures with friends.

I was able to go on this cruise only because Groupon had a deal, and I was able to get an extra 20% off. It is pretty pricey even after all that. That being said, we absolutely loved this Brunch cruise we took on 11/27/2016, it was worth the price I paid. The boat was a nice size, staff was amazing and so nice and helpful, and I dont mean the, "im trying to get a good tip," kind either, they seemed genuinely nice people. The food, omg, such a nice selection, Ive attached 2 pictures, there was more food and fruit that I did not take a picture of. Bacon was great, eggs, were good, and mac & cheese-the best Ive ever had! It was a rainy cold Seattle morning, as some have mentioned, windows did fog up a little but, it was nice and cozy. It was not an issue, we were so busy eating we didnt pay much attention- lol. It was 4 of us, and there were plenty of tables available, that we got a window seat without having to pay extra. btw, dont worry about being first in line, seating is already assigned when you get there. I believe the paid window seating offered a little more leg room. If you fill out the comment card, you get a $20 dollar gift certificate toward your next cruise. Over all, it was a great cruise, I would highly recommend it.

What a wonderful way to spend a sunny Sunday! Our family went on a Sunday brunch cruise. We began our cruise on Lake Union and proceeded to Lake Washington. On the way we saw houseboats, sea planes, Gas Works Park, stunning views of the mountains and houses of the wealthy (very wealthy). The captain would come on the PA every so often and tell us of a fascinating house we were passing. His facts and stories were very entertaining. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The captain was good about giving us wonderful information, but wasnt always on the PA talking to us. And yes, we did see Bill Gates home! We also saw a house with a dinosaur skeleton. Interestingly, the dinosaur house was of more interest to our teenagers than Mr. Gates home. The food was delicious! The buffet had a variety of food and there was plenty to eat. Some of the foods were salmon, sausage, bacon, a pasta dish (I think it was a crab and pasta salad -I dont eat seafood so I didnt have any, but my family enjoyed it), fruit, hash browns, muffins, cheeses and french toast. I would highly recommend a brunch cruise with Waterways Cruise!

I bought a Sunday brunch cruise groupon and one more as a gift for my husband. I made reservations for the 2 of us for the May 1st brunch cruise well in advance (April 20th). I had also given my credit card details for the extra $20 that had to be paid for window seating. However, I never got a confirmation email from them. I called them up today to get a confirmation on phone and they said they dont have any reservation under my name or my groupon number. I gave them all the details but didnt find my reservation and they told me that since I didnt have the confirmation email, there was no "proof" that I ever made the reservation in the first place. The May 1st cruise is now sold out and we have family visiting over the next entire month, so we are not going to be able to make it on another weekend before June 15th! I have asked them to refund me my money but not sure if Ill even get a call back about it. Very horrible customer service experience. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

We had a great time on the Sunday Brunch cruise (5/31/2009). The food was great and the service was outstanding. Everyone was very helpful. We took our 2 year old and 12 year old and both enjoyed it. Our 2 year old like the water and talking to the captain. Brunch: Pros-Had great pastries, chowder was excellent. Cons - Too many choices and my plate was full half way through the buffet. Facilities: Pros-great boat, very clean, well organized and easy to view sights from inside. Cons-Not a lot of viewing space outside if the boat was full. Our toddler was bored for the last 30 min of trip (would probably reccommend for the 3+ crowd). No baby changing area on board. We would reccommend this to our friends and family. Next time we have friends or family in from out of town well try to catch a cruise. It was the perfect thing to do with visitors and reasonably priced considering you get a tour and a meal.
