We loved the Cirque Du Soleil Michael Jackson tribute. Wow!!! They did it right! We have loved Michael throughout his entire carreer since he was 10 years old, singing "Its Easy as ABC, 123, Baby, You and Me! Whoo!" However... During the 20 minute intermission, I went to the concession stand to get 2 beers for my wife and me, stood in line for 15 minutes while 7 people couldnt decide what to buy, and waited for their nachos and such. Then when it was my turn, the guy took the handles off the beer taps and said, "Its 9:30, we cant sell any more beer." Whhaatttt!!! Are you kidding me!!!!!! I reminded him it was well before 2AM, and in the State of Washington you can legally sell beer up to 2AM. So I ordered 2 Vitamin Waters for $10. What a rip off! I returned to my seat, and overheard the people behind me say, "Hey lets get some beers." I told them they stopped serving beer at 9:30. But he left anyway, and returned with 4 beers. He said he went to the bottom floor and they were still serving beer at 10PM. Now Im not just inconvenienced, Im offended at the total incompetence of the Key Arena Staff. They charged us $300 for 2 tickets to one of the best shows we have ever seen, and they wont sell me a beer, or tell me to go to the bottom floor.

Such a fun place! The Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Childrens Little Theater and Childrens Museum are all located here all g with EMP. There is also a park with a water feature that is fun for littles to run through when it is hot. Lots of grass provide great space for a picnic lunch, or go inside the center to the food court and grab something to eat. Seattle Fudge is also located inside if you are in the mood for something sweet. Free parking is almost non existent but if you drive around enough times, you might find a spot. Otherwise, paid lots or by the hour metered parking is available. The Space Needle costs to ride up and there is a restaurant at the top that rotates while you eat. If you get motion sickness, this may not be the best place to eat...though it is beautiful. The Childrens Museum is pricey, but a ton of fun and one can spend hours there. The Pacific Science Center is a must see and also great for all ages. The special exhibit does cost extra. EMP is also fun, but more for older kids and adults.

I attended a weekend belly dance event at the Armory in Seattle Center recently and I was pretty pleased with this venue! The dance classrooms had full-length mirrors, there were plenty of bathrooms, there were water bottle filling fountains... And as someone who is always hungry, I appreciate having a dance event at a place with SO MANY FOOD OPTIONS. I ate something different for every meal, and there were some days where I had lunch, dinner, and a snack there. Theres even a Starbucks for those of you who need a very specific coffee fix. But for those who want to try something different, theres bubble tea, smoothies, iced tea, hot tea... Plenty of beverages. Also mini cheesecakes. I recommend those pretty highly. I met this giant Great Dane named Titan while I was there, too. I cant promise that you will also meet Titan, but I figured why not share his picture with the world? Hes a handsome boy.

I like the view from the Space Needle. You get better value when you buy the City Pass. It allows you come at night time and come back for a day time visit the following day. I also came for a lot of events (Tet in Seattle, winter ice skating, Japanese festival, etc). I volunteered as a photographer for Tet in Seattle so you can see photos of the event and how huge these buildings are. People are super nice and there are food stalls with interested food choices during the festival. I created a list on my site for events in Seattle and near by area with dates but also Seattle Center has a list of festivals that are held at the Seattle Center on their site. There are festivals here every month here. I like the Terracotta warrior exhibit here and my niece loves the Pacific Science Center near by. It definitely worth a visit when you are in Seattle beside the Pike Place Market.

There are lots of fun and interesting things in the city center. For the young and sort of young kids there is the childrens museum. If you have a medicaid provider one card then admission is discounted. The space needle and glass museum are unique and worth doing at least once. The Seattle science center is also full of fun and interesting exhibits that rotate through. Most recently, the Terracotta warriors from China exhibit was fascinating. Parking can be tricky but affordable if you find some street parking on the perimeter. A great place to come and have some family fun if you have some time and/or a few bucks to spend on interesting items. However, there are a few free things as well like the playground and grass lawn.

Always something going on and always something to look at. Theres a bunch of food options all of them fabulous. I work down stairs in the Armory and see many people passing through and making use of the amazing playground they built in the last few years, attending shows and generally just visting to see the space needle. Monday through Wednesday are when its the least crowded in my opinion, Thursday, Fridays and Saturday are when most events are taking place so its much more busy with people trying to catch their show or whatever. And Sundays are usually pretty chill and usually when I see the most people out walking their dog or just themselves.

Amazing and beautiful. So much fun for the family or friends. Theres a discounted price for the space needle before 830 or 9am. Or evening hours after 9pm. My kids loved the play area. Parking was a bit pricey. $11 for 2 hours. There are several parking lots or parking structures to park around. Theres metered street parking. If you have on good walking shoes you can park at an hourly parking structure between the Seattle center and the downtown market. Its a fun site seeing walk Experience. Or just uber or taxi In between places so you dont have to move your vehicle. Beautiful backgrounds for memorable photos. A Must visit.

I just love this place. No matter what is going on. Its fun to come here with kids on warm days and let them run in the fountain. There are often festivals going on. Im not sure the carnival area is still open, since it always seems closed, but it would be cool if they fix that part up. You can always go up the Space Needle or ride the monorail to Westlake Center and then walk around downtown and to the market. Avoid the center house food area though. Its all overpriced, bad quality, junk food. Youre better off going to the McDonalds nearby or better yet to the Dicks close by as well.
