Very nice forested park with streams running through it. It is fairly empty year round except for the occasional dog walker. Lots of off-leash dogs so if you dont like that this might not be the best place to go. We have seen a fox, lots of birds, and some salamanders here, so there is a lot to explore around for.

Entrance South of the park itself - on 97th street. Cute little hiking trail park, should wear shoes that can get muddy as there are some squishy spots. Its truly a beautiful park, right in the middle of the city - you can still hear airplanes flying overhead every 5 minutes.

Great little park. Has a playground on the South end, but 90% of it is natural space w singletrack walking trails. You can see lots of birds and locals walking their pets, but for the most part the feel is very remote in the middle of West Seattle.

Beautiful forest! Highly recommended. Some rather step hills... Bring solid walking order hiking shoes or boots.
