Retro Junkie

Place looks like a condemned wherehouse from outside. Inside not bad. Seating is terrible. Dance floor is in middle, which blocks path to bar for drinks. Bartenders are terrible. Maybe two if your lucky and they dont pay attention to who came up first, refills, etc. Wait staff is a joke. I asked for a jack n coke 3 times, lady never came back with it. Never did get my drink. I gave up and watched the live music. Sound system is good. Food? I dont see anything around inside or out. So its Olympia, and I guess this is what you get for a small town. Seattle? yep there you get it going on. San Fran? Yep... world class... Little Oly, not so much. Just eat and drink before you go see the music... the bands are good. Good luck getting an adult drink though.. depends on how many idiots are on the dance floor blocking the bar, etc..

This place and the people who own it and work there ROCK! Great drinks with handmade syrups and concoctions made with care and love. I almost believed the freshly made blackberry syrup in my drink was good for me. The dance floor is large and the space is clean and comfortable. You will be treated like a neighbor and given respect. The music tends to be fairly great.

Great place to hang out and watch live music. Inexpensive beer, and great crowd temperament. I have been there 10 or so times and have had a blast every time. Would easily have given them a five but they NEED FOOD. Even if is some bags of chips or anything. They will let you bring some stuff in, which is great, but it would be nice to have something on site.

Very friendly staff. Decent beer selection. Its the place to see live music in Olympia. Unfortunately not everyone in the crowd is there for the music so you may be trying to listen to music thats competing with super loud barhoppers (who I assume had to pay the cover too?)

Best bartenders, free pool, outside seating and an outdoor smoking area. Great drinks, great prices, and THE BEST MUSICAL PERFORMANCES IN OLYMPIA!!!! Also, Monday night jazz, Tuesday night game nights, Wednesday is chill, Thursdays are live jam sessions.

We were the only people in the bar when we got there (late) and i HAVE NO IDEA WHY. They had a band playing (who were AWESOME) the drinks were fine, lots of room and it was a Sunday night but a long weekend. Either way, Id go back!
