Speaking to the County Fair only: The fair is fun, and the crafts offered from local granges and the animals makes it what a county fair should be. The food is overpriced for what it is. The noise level is atrocious, and shows that people have swallowed whole what the corporate music industry has been pushing down their throats for years. I had to wear earplugs the entire time, to cut down the noise from different venues playing worthless music at the same time; the live music was no great shakes either, with these wannabes trying to make up in loudness what they lack in talent. The noise level was particularly offensive at the "Family Fun" stage; what fun it may have been for the kids was largely due to the imagination of adults, and will be lost on the kids when they have to waste money early on for hearing aids. If sound levels were lowered by about 2/3ds, the fair would be far more enjoyable.

We went for Jake Owen concert Friday night, disabled parking was awesome, paved walkways and some good food choices, several tents and tables to sit and eat at. But we were not prepared for people to rush the stage and our fourth row seat became worthless and my boyfriend who is in a wheelchair could not see much, I tried to keep folks clear by about 3 feet so he did not get stepped on. Having a raised platform for wheel chairs would have been nice and a lot safer. The staff did the best they could and people were having a good time, he didnt seem to mind very much, because he got to hear a great show and while he didnt get to watch Jake Owen perfom he did enjoy watching the all the young ladies dancing around him.... hahaha! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

This is unbelievable piece of Real Estate in the buildings might be a little bit tired but look for Hillsboro and the fair board to come up with something big for this location very soon! Its very possible we could be seeing a conference facility with some kind of an indoor then you here for music and large corporations as well as the public to use. The Washington County Fair with all the animals and livestock is still one of the great events and I would totally give this a 5 5-star if the facilities were upgraded a little bit.

Great little hometown fair though needs better roads for wheelchair and fairground wheel chair access as well as outlets to plug in ones chair. This was clean the food incredible and diversity was astounding everyone was represented i do mean everyone. Being free admission made it easier to go on rides and buy from vendors. Finally the bands playing on the concert venues were fantastic the whole max to the fair was brilliant as well though not Your problem it could have run more trains. Highly recomend this little jewel

I had a fabulous time here last year. Enjoyed listening and dancing to the music and set home base right there. Sampling the fair foods, having a beer, people watching, animals, small fair grounds so felt good about letting the teens run around. Not over crowded and socializing with friends, neighbors and strangers. Probably the best time Ive had at a fair.

$10 to park? We came from Tigard, husband disabled (good handicap parking though). I realize it offsets the entrance fee but it costs less to go to the State Fair and they have free parking. Im not saying that it should be free but come on, $6-$7 tops. Well be skipping this from now on.

Most people will only see the fairgrounds during the county fair, and when there, they will realize its restrooms, seating areas, and simple amenities is woefully inadequate. Its not so bad for the smaller venues, but the buildings are all showing their age.

Parking is terrible here. The parking attendants had me do a complete loop around just to get in to the lot. I decided to leave after an hour and a half of waiting in the car doing a loop. This was my first attempt coming and my last.

Location seems nice, easy parking. The event of went to however was a scam, reptile and bird expo was a joke, it this review is a out the complex which is to be expected for a fairground :)

Great venue as with most places like this it needs updating and more restrooms. There is a pending proposal to put in an amphitheater and hopefully with that will come upgrades and updates

The buildings are run down and musty, however the grounds are great for the outdoor and indoor/outdoor events they host. They just need to reinvest some money at some point and not be cheap.

Large locale and is usually staffed well for the fairs they hold. Parking situation is a nightmare and dont arrive in your sports car or you defiantly high wife in the fields.

The ambience was nice. Big place to hold more than 600 people event. In the Durga Puja event we had more than 600 people. Enough space for parking. Looks a little old though.
