My husband and I had our wedding here on July 3rd, and it was perfect. We stayed two nights with the whole wedding party, which gave us time to set up and tear down, hang out, and even have rehearsal dinner the night before. The house itself is just amazing, with plenty of space for our party of 14. The kitchen is gorgeous and well-stocked, and there are barbecues for guests to use. The living room is spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the grounds and the pond. There is even a baby grand piano in the house, and a hot tub off of the main suite. The grounds are incredible, with a fantastic gazebo thats perfect for ceremonies, and a new trellis at the pond that would be wonderful as well. The Kingston crew did an impeccable job preparing the grounds, which were just stunning. There is a beautiful and peaceful path around the pond, and the lavender farm is the perfect spot for photos. There is also a gorgeous koi pond/ garden/ waterfall patio in the back that was my favorite spot of all, and was great for photos with family. There is a newly built dining hall that fit our 100 guests no problem, complete with a catering kitchen and two lovely guest bathrooms (accessible!). The dining hall itself has high vaulted ceilings, and glass garage-style doors that open onto the patio, which gave dinner a nice open feel. Its the perfect venue for the Seattle area, because all the places guests will be are rain-friendly, while still giving you an outdoor experience. Working with Matt and Kinam was a pleasure from start to finish. Matt was always courteous and informative, and responded to questions quickly. He was also on-site for the entire wedding, and the staff on site were all very helpful and courteous, and even helped put up some of our decorations. He and Kinam and the whole Kingston staff are gems, and we were so lucky to have them. They really made the day run smoothly, and helped us enjoy every moment. I cannot recommend this venue enough. This place is a true treasure, as are Matt and Kinam, and the whole crew.

My family and I had stayed at the Kingston House over July 4th weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is beyond stunning and the property breathtaking. My daughter and her friend, and our Aussie, had a fabulous time exploring the grounds and spent hours outside the lush, well-maintained, and vast property playing frisbee, catch, and other games. The house had all one would want for a stress free family vacation. It was clean, beautifully decorated, completely stocked, had luxurious amenities, and was quiet and serene. We explored nearby Kingston Waterfront park for the farmers market and July 4th parade. We also drove to nearby downtown Poulsbo which is a very charming town with nice galleries and restaurants. We bought a painting and had a nice dinner. We were also excited to return to the home and relax as it was so peaceful. We built a fire and sat around the fire late into the evening. The owner/manager is extremely nice and accommodating. She offered ideas and suggestions for things to do and was very accessible for anything we needed. Communication was great and instructions were easy to follow and understand. We have previously stayed at another of the owners property on Bainbridge Island and were just as satisfied and pleased. I would not hesitate to stay at her properties again in the future and will likely do so!!!!

We were so fortunate to be able to have our wedding at Kingston House. It was the perfect location to celebrate our union. We still have guests raving about the beautiful property and grounds and we find ourselves still wanting to be there. It felt like paradise with all of the beautiful trees, ferns, and lush gardens. The house is a work of art and has a very special and serene feel to it. Kinam was a pleasure to work with. From the beginning, she was extremely responsive, organized, and accommodating. Kinam and her team feel like great friends now. It was so special to be able to share their beautiful space. The house is very equipped for your needs. It was very helpful to have two dishwashers and washers/dryers for all of our event prep/clean up. There were so many extras with the grill, fire pit, croquet set, portable bathrooms, tents, and tables/chairs. It was so nice to have a venue that included all of that. Kingston house was by far the most beautiful venue that we looked at that also included the most amenities. Kingston House is an ideal wedding location. We definitely feel that the house and property reflected the amazing ambience that was so special to us throughout our whole wedding journey. A huge thanks to Kinam and Eric! It has been an incredible experience!

Previously I stayed at another property belonging to the owner and since I had a wonderful time there in the fall, I decided to try this rental property for a change of scenery. Kingston House greatly exceeded my expectations! From the lush landscape to the spacious home, I truly wished this was my home all year! If you are looking for a great place to have a family vacation, a wedding or retreat, I highly recommend it! There is a pond on the property and walking trails go around it. I spent my morning drinking coffee on the wraparound deck. It was a much needed, relaxing vacation. Also, if you are bringing a large family or group for an event or reunion, there are plenty of bedrooms... in my experience that can be hard to find with some rental properties. This property is also tucked away from the main road so it feels secluded, even though theres great access to shopping, dining and the ferry just a couple of miles away. Thanks again Kinam!

The Kingston House Weddings and Events venue is really a very special place! I have visited it in both summer and winter, which was great because while both times were spectacular, they were very different experiences. In the summer, you can enjoy the enormous green lawns, flower gardens, pick apples, and watch the birds at the pond. In the winter we visited during a light snow storm and seeing the place blanketed in white was truly magical. I think the best description is that its a natural paradise! I consider the owner - Kinam Sohn - a friend. She is so warm and really is an amazing hostess. Its obvious that she cares very much about every detail and wants to make your experience a special one. Thank you Kinam. Although I am back in Korea, I hope to return to Kingston House soon!

I have stayed several times at Kingston House when I need a retreat and always leave feeling revived and relaxed. As soon as one walks in the door, surrounded by the tranquil view of the pond, expansive lawns and protected by lush forest, I’m able to forget my busy, hectic, urban life! Not only is it relaxing for families, but it’s also a great place for organizations to have team meetings and retreats – only a short drive from Seattle with the feeling that you’re miles & miles away in the woods… I see that they are now focusing a lot on hosting weddings and it really makes sense given the natural beauty, and the possibility that wedding parties can also use the house as overnight accommodation before and/or after the event. I can’t wait to go back!

As a photographer, having assisted numerous wedding shoots, my favorite types of venues are those that dont need much dressing up, the grounds and its surroundings are simply stunning and photographing in that environment is a pleasure. At the Kingston House its hard not to find a location that isnt a beautiful backdrop for the couple to be surrounded in, with the tree groves and the lush ferns it truly captures the special moment for the couple. Mrs. Sohn couldnt have been a more gracious and accommodating host. Thank you Mrs. Sohn!!!
