We are so happy to have had our wedding at Within Sodo. The space is absolutely beautiful, urban chic. We were able to rent individual rooms rather than have to pay for areas that we werent actually going to use which I feel is pretty unique to this venue. You are able to save a little bit of money if you dont need all of the rooms. They let us bring our own food and alcohol as well (not sure if they now offer bar services) which was key to selecting a venue. The parking situation is fine. None of our guests seemed to have an issue finding parking as there is lots of street parking, just be careful if your event falls on a game day. W/S loses a star though because of some issues I ran into when planning the space. I had approximately 3 freak outs during wedding planning and 2 were about Within Sodo. I was given permission by the owner to hang some decor from the pipes in The Gallery and about a month before the wedding after I had bought the decor I was told I couldnt hang from the pipes but could hang them from the wood beams. It doesnt sound like a big deal except I had a really hard time finding a friend that was brave enough to get 4 feet higher up on a ladder to hang the decor. It ended up being fine, just know if youd like to hang something it has to be from the beams. Before booking the venue we were told that 120 guests can fit in The Ballroom if you did 4 rows of banquet tables. Turns out about 115 can fit in 3 rows of banquet tables. (I ended up ordering extra tables that I didnt need). Luckily for us those last 5 guests RSVPed "No" to our invitation otherwise we wouldnt have to split up guests at dinner which was absolutely not an option for us. Before you plan on a certain number of people seated for dinner, make sure you see picture evidence that it can actually happen! I had a hard time getting confirmation of what would work in this space and it was really stressful. If you want to rent this space, you have to supply your own tables and chairs which makes for a little extra work for the hosts/bride/groom but it was worth it to get married here for sure! In any case, I definitely recommend this venue! We have no regrets whatsoever :)

I was a guest for a wedding/reception held here. The venue inside is lovely. The parking outside wasnt great. Additionally there is no clear entrance. I walked halfway around the block before figuring it out. The staff were pleasant though not particularly forward. My dear friend was getting married and I managed the staff quite a lot in order to make sure she didnt have to. I was surprised. Also it was super dark until one of the party found the light switch. That seemed kind of odd.

I went here for a wedding. I didnt actually know what to expect by the location to be honest. I drove by a few times and when I found the spot I was PLEASANTLY surprised about how amazing the location is. Mind you, ever since that day this place has been #1 for me when I think of venues for something medium sized. That upstairs deck though. Its amazing.

Attended a wedding here. Venue is great for weddings and has a nice layout for larger groups. Great view of the city. Pain points were the lack of parking, no clear entrance into the venue (you enter through a bar), and no Air Conditioning meant a very uncomfortable wedding for all guests on a hot afternoon.

We had my husbands birthday party at Within Sodo. The large movie style screen was perfect for playing Xbox with a group. There is plenty of space and fun art to chat about. All of guests had a great time. Its a great space!
